Remember last offseason? It was considerably longer, wasnt it? I think it started in September, haha...but no really, look at the difference between this year and last.

Where are all the Ronnie Brown is a BUST threads?
Where all all the Ted Ginn Jr. is a BUST threads?
Where are all the fire this person, fire that person threads?

Its amazing what winning does to the moral of fans...I just hope that everyone realizes that this is a TEAM game...and it starts at THE TOP. A player may not be performing for COUNTLESS reasons. Hopefully we learn to think outside the box and not be so quick to make crazy claims, call everyone a bust, and rant/rave all over these forums.

Its all ended....and I hope that it stays that for years to come. Let the logical debate begin, and the raving end!!

For a while there in 2006/2007 I began to dread this place because of the negativity.

Those threads will never go away until people can actually think clearly about players instead of with their apparent and undying bias against certain players on the roster. Offseason is just beginning so stay tuned and prepare to unsheathe your weapons of objectivity everyone, there is still plenty of more of those posts and threads to come.
 
Last year we had the Beck War.
Now we have Ginn is a bust war.
 
My favorite thing so far this off season is not seeing the Brady Quinn threads this off season, since Quinn did nothing last year. Now everyone thinks we should have drafted Patrick Willis. Oh well, you can't make everyone happy. Ted Ginn can do anything!!!
 
this is the worst post ive ever seen. i guess by your standards its not ok 2 come to a FORUM and post their opinions without having someone like you critisizing somone for their opinion. i bet you support the so called fairness doctrine... :lol:
 
Jake Long could have done much better but I'm not sure he was giving 100%. Polite really messed us up on 4th down plays. Porter could have easily had more sacks. It was a good turnaround season but I expected MUCH more!!! Happy?
 
I don't know, I kind of think this offseason is taking longer to get here since I can't wait to see what kind of moves they are going to make, last off season was more of "It can't get any worse." kind of thing going on.
 
Actually all the same posts are there, it's just that the debate is slightly less intense because two of the players mentioned did show improvment/good play. As far as fireing people, I don't remember those threads. Cam was already gone.

Personally, I love Finheaven in good times and in bad. I won't leave Finheaven, just like I won't leave the Dolphins.

As of right now, Channing Crowder is Finheaven's current whipping boy. If Channing leaves then it will probably go back to Ginn full-time, also a few "Beck sucks" threads will probably pop up in the slower times of the offseason.
 
I'm just enjoying the off-season. Looking forward to what the front office does. We really can only get better with this staff. We may lose a few of our top performers last year but can upgrade those positions. This staff knows how to get a team to play together...jell quickly. We will only get better...

Yes...I'd say the Crowder war is definitly more of a shooting match than the Ginn war. Lots more legs. The Ginn war I see as just an ongoing low intensity conflict. We're not going to cut him regardless. He's actually a value for his contract if the salary cap hit I heard was correct (40-something in WR pay) He will play out his contract here I believe, for better or for worse.

As far as Beck goes....I haven't seen one of those threads in a while. He's not really relevant to the conversation.
