All off-season I thought our Special teams were going to be great.
After Parcells signed all of those stand-out special teams free agents, and knowing how he has emphasized special teams play while he was with the Giants, pats & jets I was actually looking forward to seeing a scrappy team scratch and claw to stay in games.
It's been great seeing our D dominate chunks of games, and seeing Pennington and our Offense play almost mistake free football. Our special teams blow though. Every time there is a kick off or punt return I'm almost afraid to watch the play. Every returner seems to end up past the 40 on almost every kick. As for Ginn Jr, the less said about his returns the better. I'm glad that he is starting to hold his own as a WR, but he sure seems more like a liability than an advantage so far on returns.
