accountable for the dangerous rumors they put out there?
Gossip is one thing, but to speculate that a team's franchise player might be out for the year when there is no basis...is just irresponsible and mean-spirited.:tantrum:

First of all, Daunte is not our franchise player, Second there is basis, and third its a ****ing rumor site.....If people dont understand that it is only speculation dont go, get your news from ESPN....

Maybe so, but nobody at PFT is forcing us to read into this stuff.....

One more thing. It's called a "Rumor Mill", so it's self explanitory....

PHINZ RULE!!!

Uh, no. PFT is a rumor site, and clearly advertised as such.

PFT might be rude and say bad things from time to time but that's tough beans. Read it or dont, and if you do learn to seperate the speculation and chaff from the good information.

It's called "rumor Mill" for a reason. Just because it's typed does not make it true.

PFT is a little childish and they do throw a lot of crap out, BUT they do have legitimate sources and they have broken major stories before...With that said i take what i read with a grain of salt...

Calm Down...no one's forcing you to read that...or even this. It's your choice. And now you get another one...Do you believe this or not?

umm...

one...they are paying him like a franchise player for this year...two...there is no basis because no one else is suggesting that he won't play for the year...and three...just because its a rumor mill...doesn't mean that you have to create news that understandably has upset a good portion of posters on this website today.:tantrum:

They don't care about us, and we shouldn't care about them either....

They arent creating news. They, plain as day, say, "speculation continues" and "we're hearing increased rumblings". The idea that he might not be able to play as always been there, and they are just stating that some people think this...Anyone who cant understand that deserves to be upset....

Honestly it is realistic to say that daunte misses the whole season. A similiar case is Willis Mcgahee... He took over a year to be able to get onto the field. AND with these injuries it is most likely that Daunte will not regain full use for another 2-3 years... Whether he can contribute is the most important factor. Generally no one comes back before a full year...that would mean he won't play till october...BUT anything is possible INCLUDING Starting the season, or Missing the Season OR starting a few games in...

It's All possible...AND for your information Daunte's salary for this year is 1 million. Then a mil from the 7 million dollar signing bonus....Next year his salary jumps to 6.5 million. So in effect he is not being paid to be a "franchise" QB till next year.

With all that said i am hoping for the best:tongue:

It just may be what you are saying, but there exist these little rules, so to speak, that we go by in this country...I think some refer to them as amendments, of which one states some crazy dribble drabble about free speech or something like that...I would think that as a FinHeaven writer you would have some appreciation for it...

If you don't like what they publish, then just don't go to their site....as I am sure that there are some that don't like some of the nonsense that goes on in here and have done the same.
