It all became clear to me this morning!

I jumped into my car this morning, tired, sleepy and already a tad down from another long week featuring long hours of endless work. I turned on my IPOD and Fountains of Wayne "All Kinds of time" came on...I started thinking back of every snap I've seen Beck have..and for some reason I got this feeling that John Beck is truly the one. I know he might not be the most talented athlete in our squad but there is something about this kid that rubs me the right way the same way there is something about Henne that doesn't. As the song progressed I realized that he is a student of the game. I couldn't help myself and ask is having heart enough? If Fielder had some kind of success under a dark regime then why can't Beck? I haven't been right about a lot of things but I got a gut feeling that John Beck will be your starting quaterback for your Miami Dolphins for this and many years to come. Even though I'm neutral and root for the best player at each position and I have no favorites. I tend to catch myself rooting for John Beck. He is your Kung Fu Panda of Football!

I also try to remain nuetral in this competition, but theres something about Beck that makes me want him to win. Its hard not to root for a guy that has so much heart and has good attributes. I think this despite the fact that Henne has a much stronger arm and also is much younger. I know IF Henne wins we have a 23 year old who will only get better. But somehow I keep wanting Beck. I'm starting to think its because I don't wanna start over with the QB thing this year.

It is clearly hard to not root for Beck. The video you saw is on youtube and it is awesome, but we wont know anything until Preseason and even after that we still wont know much. the truth is this regime is given him a chance to suceed, and hopefully he does.

I agree, I think they know they can probably mold this guy into a good quaterback. He's got the intangibles but does he have the true gift of talent?

If cincy was a glimps of it, we might have something here, I hate that we had to go to yet another Offense...it would be nice to see what our ppl could do in the same O for at least, say 3 straight years..

I really don't think Henne has a "much stronger arm" There's a video of Beck throwing a pass over 70 yards in the air in a game situation in college and at the combine he had the 2nd most velocity. Henne has a strong arm yes, but Beck also has a very strong arm.
