I know its hard being a Dolphin fan but at least we aren't Lion fans. Just look at their situation. Whisenhunt turns them down to coach the Titans. :lol2:
All that talent is gonna be wasted on that team.

The obvious assumption with Whis is that he decided he'd rather roll the dice on Locker + drafted QB than try to fix Matt Stafford. Now, that may not be true at all, but that's got to hurt.

You take the Detroit job, you know you're getting five years regardless of how lousy you are.

I don't care who Detroit hires, but I was kind of hoping they would get Whisenhunt, leaving Kubiak open for our OC job. Now, he is still in the mix there as a HC. Other than Detroit and the Dolphins, I haven't read that he has interviewed with any other team.

I don't blame Whisenhunt. The Lions have talent, but also a lot of big egos and disciplinary problems that can't be fixed overnight. I also dont believe that Stafford is really any good.

Sort of like when Fisher turned us down. Though maybe the Lions will end up with a better coach than Whisenhunt like Miami ended up with the better coach in 2012.

Whis was the best head coach who was actually taking interviews. Titans got a steal there.

Apparently the Lions are going to hire Jim Caldwell.

Which is about the funniest thing I've ever heard.

whisenhunt is meant to be a coordinator...it wont take long before he is again

I really wouldn't be so sure that Philbin is a better coach than fisher

Nobody wants to live in freezing, corrupt, ghetto-wasteland Detroit. Lololol.

Honestly, I would look to college or call back Jim Schwartz before thinking about hiring Caldwell or Munchak.

Munchak isn't a bad coach. He was handed a raw deal in Tennessee. He overachieved there with what he had to work with.

You saw him finally get competent QB play this year and that team was ROLLING. Then Locker went down. The rest is history.

Mike Zimmer is a perfect fit in Detroit, but it will not happen.

Honestly I think Locker is one of those guys that could break out IF he manages to avoid further injuries, he showed me a lot in the few games he played this year

You say that, yet he was what 2 minutes away from winning a super bowl.

That certainly seems like a good fit.
My issue with Zimmer is that he is probably a lot like Jim Schwartz and they want to go in an another direction.

I heard on the NFL network today that Zimmer is a candidate for the Vikings.

Well its not like coaches didn't decide to coach elsewhere over us. It happens
