Today, as we're coming off of a 6-10 season and we're 0-1 and we have the Patriots looming on the road this weekend, I would like to try to cheer up all of my fellow fans with this wonderful tidbit I saw today:

He was hired at the same time as Philbin, and right now the Rams are not only worse than the Dolphins, but just traded away what looks like it could be the #1 overall pick in 2017. And he's not even on the hot seat.
So as we look at our team and how rough it is to continue rooting for this franchise, just remember: it could have been worse. It could have been much worse.
Take a bow, Vaark, because you called this one. Jeff Fisher is not just the King of Mediocre coaches, he is now a franchise destroyer.

When the Rams lost to the 49ers last night, Jeff Fisher took a dubious place in NFL history. Fisher is now all alone in third place in NFL history for most coaching losses, with 157.
