It Hurts To Lose But...

I know it sucks to lose and it hurts but when you look at how far this team has come in such a short period of time you gotta be pretty proud. I mean its been 7 years since weve played a playoff game. We were 1-15 last year. We got 29 new guys. A new coach and offensive coordinator. We had no chemistry comin into the season, there was alot of new faces in the locker room. In what was supposed to be a rebuilding year we go 11-5 and win the AFC East. It feels good to be a winning team again. I only expect to get better from here. I saw alot of Henne talk today but everyone knows deep down we would not have even been playing in a game of that importance today if it werent for Chad Pennington. He got us to where we were this year why would they pull him out to put in a rookie? It doesnt make any sense. Even though the seasons come to an end id have to say that for the most part im still happy with what we've accomplished. It was definately nice to play games that meant something in December and January again. We've come a long way in such a short period of time that im excited to see what offseason moves we make and what we can do next year. I think we've got alot of talent on this team but we can use an upgrade at a couple positions. I hope Parcells sticks around and continues to help this team. One thing for sure is it was nice to knock the Pats outta the playoffs this year.

Exactly, I could not agree more. Personally, Sparano not getting coach of the yr is what really burned me today.

Miami did so well w/ giveaways and the turnover margin this season. The timing bites for turnovers to be an issue but the law of averages had to catch up to the phins eventually.

Usually, I'm thoroughly annoyed w/ the phins by early Oct. Today, during the 2nd qtr, was the first time all season I found myself getting irritated. I was tense during the Chargers, Rams, Jets game last week but really enjoyed this season.

My initial predicition for '08 was for Miami to win 5. After acquiring Chad P & beating the Chargers early on; It was possible the phins might win 7 if everything went well & they caught a few breaks. So, after beating the Rams in Nov, its all been icing on the cake.

Winning last week in the Meadowlands where they rarely play well was a great Xmas present.
