After the Panthers game everyone was on board with Parcels, Ireland, and Sparano. Everyone loved Henne, and our team was going in the right direction. One loss and it is complete gloom and doom around here, but if we defeat the Patriots every one will be 10x as optimistic as they were after the Panthers game.

I think overachieving last year has destroyed the moral of the fans. The bottom line is we are a very young team that needs some experience, and a few more pieces put in place before we are a true competitor. The good thing is when you rebuild a team you have to start with the offensive and defensive front lines. The front office has solidified those lines, found a franchise QB(love it or hate it) and has found a lot of over achievers in the late round of the draft. To think this team could be there next year is very realistic. That is insanely quick considering we were 1-15 two years ago. Ask Detroit and Oakland if they would trade with us.

We have to be paitent as fans...

Its tough tho...We have not won a super bowl in so long

and have not been there in so long too...

So I can understand how some ppl want a super bowl now..or at least a playoff run..

But the way things are going I can see us being competitive for a long long time

You can't really use logic on this board. Fans were brainwashed by last year and forgot this team is still rebuilding. But as you said, if we beat the Patriots, they'll be back on board like the frontrunners they are.

so true, if we win this week, sparanos the best coach, the trifecta is ausum, henne is the future, etc. thats why im not bashing tony, or the trifecta or henne. i still feel they r all good and r putting the right pieces into place.

i feel the problem more is our oc and dc. henning is lost, he dosent know what hes doing. he is costing us games in my opinion. i want henning gone next season unless we win the superbowl, then he can stay.

same with pasqualoni. the guy dosent no how to apply pressure. i dont want to here the argument how we r top 5 in sacks, bc if u watch the games, alot of those rnt bc we r dialing up blitz packages etc, its coverage sacks a decent amount. i want to see us hit the qb like the steelers do, or as much as it pains me to say it, the jets.

Not really. People don't voice their negative thoughts when we win beacuse they get attacked here immediately and get called out as fans. It still happens when we lose, but not nearly as much.

Besides, 95% of people are here because they love the Dolphins and can overlook problems as long as we are improving.

I agree no matter what happens Paul has to be hired and a real DC has to be brought in. Romeo is not spoken for, and could make the most out of our front 7. He also has a long history with Parcels.

That is how it is on this board. You will find the true fans may get upset about things but we know we are in good hands with the trifecta. The so-called fans are ready to fire everyone after a loss.

There is a few things you could take issue with today, and see the glass as half empty, but enjoy this victory, and the optomisism that comes with it. It was a great win, our first round pick this season made one of the biggest plays in my lifetime as a Dolphan, and the vision of Brady defeated on the ground throwing a pick makes this season worth while even if we do not win another game. I know I am drinking a fish and celebrating like it is 1999.

PS I am glad we got flexed out of the late game, as I would not have been able to enjoy this game with my children, and I would not have been able to sleep until Monday afternoon.
