It is the QB that is the Big problem

Leaf was a top 5 pick, so was Shuler, Akili Smith, Tim couch, etc.... It's been said before so I say it for you again--IT DOES NOT MATTER WHERE YOU WERE PICKED!! High draft choice only equals big $$$. It in no way garauntees success.
I don't think that really was his point. I believe he's saying he's tired of all these "diamond in the rough" castoffs, one teams garbage that we think we can turn into treasure. Rivers, who may or may not pan out, does not fall into that catagory, since the jury is still out on him.

There's no way to turn when you take a look at both backfield and receivers and you look his totally clean jersey, a pure signal of good work by OL. This time it's our QB, no doubt.
Linehan is trying to put points on score by sending big plays, and he trusted HIS QB, but the way Gus made it, i conclude that every dictionary has a picture of Gus Frerrote near the word "inconsistent".
There's no way to love what Feeley did last season, but somehow Gus showed the same aganist Atlanta. A late game killing INT.
I'll cheer for Sage next game.

What will Saban say today?

What do you all think Saban will say today when he's asked about Gus' play. In the past, he has been quick to deflect attention away from Gus and say things that put some of the fault on the linemen and on receivers. Before this game, some of those statements were warranted, but after yesterday's game, I'd be very interested to see what his response his today because yesterday it was clear that Gus was the problem when the offense was on the field. Any thoughts?

he already said that he was not happy about going 0-9 on third downs and that was up to the entire offense to make it happen, not just one guy. So what are poeple going to say now about Saban? Not much but ***** about Gus all day.

i tend to believe Saban in that the problem is much deeper than Gus. So why not just play Sage and prove it? thats all i have to say.

Gus

I agree. We keep hearing talk about how Gus knows the System, that's why he starts. How hard can it be? Atl. D figured it out in two weeks!

Gus can't complete a pass, I don't understand it. He started good against Denver and has gotten worse each game since.

It loks like the O-line is doing better. Give Sage a chance.

On a side note Saban talks about players value. He wanted Ricky back cause it would bring value. How much Value do you think Gus has at this point?

Shouldn't we bring in Sage so we can see if he has any Value?
Whether it be with this team or another?
