The season is over....

There is no game next week. I am so proud of this team but I am just disappointed that we played so poorly. I know that if we play the Ravens 10 times, they will likely beat us 7 or 8 times but what is upsetting is that we lost playing the opposite brand of football that we have played ALL year. No turnovers, no dumb penalties, and not getting manahandled up front. We did all 3 today.

Again, I am very thankful for this great year and last week was probably the happiest Dolphin game I have ever witnessed. I just wish we could hit "reset" and play again today because I know we are MUCH better than what we showed today.

Can't wait till next year,

Really. Congratulations on the well-thought-out reply.

Also - Miami didn't play a different brand of football. We just turned the ball over. Baltimore's D forces teams to do that. Without that D - they don't make the playoffs this year. Flacco completed 9 passes today - not exactly a monster day. We played our kind of football, they just kept the pressure on us because we have a weakened O-line. Chad was pressured and made bad throws because of it. Every player has days like that.
 
same it hit me also. im crying this is so depressing, no more live dolphin games that count till next september.

Actually you can add not 'making in game adjustments' to your list. I thought our coaches had always done a nice job of not only preparing the team all year but also making the adjustments it took to win. Unfortunately it seemed today that we just made alot of the same mistakes over and over.

I really thought that we were gonna make a little noise in the 2nd half when Chad had that run of 7 completions... No drop just step and throw...We seemed to really get some momentum with the quick hit attack... of course until ed Reed made that oh so SICK read on the last INT... Such is life.

Today's game in no way tarnishes a season where they outperformed even my greatest expectations... We have alot to be happy about,like the song says... the future is so bright i gotta wear shades.
 
Ehhhh....Baltimore's not going to the Superbowl this year. Either Tennessee or Pittsburgh will knock 'em out.
