we all know that we need help this off season at WR TE and LB are the biggest needs i think. some of the realistic players that will be available.

Antonio Bryant WR tampa
Kevin Walter WR- texans
Mark Clayton WR-ravens
Jason Avant WR- eagles
Malcom Floyd WR- san diego
Tony Scheffler TE- denver.
Owen Daniels-TE-texans.
Barrett Ruud- LB tampa
Karlos Dansby LB- arizona
Thomas Davis LB carolina
Thomas Howard LB- raiders
Kirk Morrinson LB-raiders
Gary Brackett LB- colts

these are just a few key free agents. do you think that we will sign any of these guys.. or who should we sign.

If neither Marshall or Jackson hit FA which I really doubt they do you DO NOT pass on Antonio Bryant.

I wouldn't mind signing Dansby and Scheffler either. But Bryant would immediately give this WR core a playmaker. I wouldn't be opposed to taking another WR in the first or second. It's a huge need for this team.

Marshall would be great as a dolphin man i really hope we get him.

yea i didnt even put marshall or vincent jackson on the list cause im pretty sure denver and sandiego will re sign them. but if not lets get one of them.

Well Marshall does not look so upset being there in Denver now, can you explain what happen there. I say if Marshall is hiding his anger he will not be with Denver and if that happens by training camps he better be a dolphins. That pick is a no brainier.

We should be keeping San Diego and Denver right in the cross hairs... Both have stud WR's and & LB's hitting the market and they can't franchise them all...

Vincent Jackson WR or Malcolm Floyd WR... maybe even Merriman from San Diego...
Brandon Marshall WR, Tony Scheffler TE (maybe?), D.J. Williams! ILB (81 tackles, 3.5 sck), Elvis Dumervil! OLB (14.0 sacks!)

Some of those guys have got to go... D.J. Williams has better numbers than Dansby and we need an inside presence BAD.

Kirk Morrison and Thomos Howard are both worth money to me. I watch a lot of raiders games and those 2 are the only reason the Raiders haven't been blown out every game.

Al davis is the kind of owner who would let those 2 slip away as well. If they don't play offense or haven't been troublesome in the media, he doesn't care about them.

I would love to have those 2.

I got the boradcast of the texans and colts game and at the end of the game Andre Johnson looked incredibly pissed off and disheartened as if he was saying "yet again we miss the playoffs", I know this is a wet dream, but if there is any possibility of getting Johnson for a 1st round pick and a 4th and maybe ginn or another WR I would be ecstatic...

I would definatley sign Dansby, and Owen Daniels. I would still bring in Boldin if price was right...

Draft defense and pick up a FA WR. Simple as that.

I would agree and if Marshall or VJ hit the market, go get one.

I'm not for signing an ok WR. We have way too many of those and the names that are listed are just that, ok. Bryant may be a little bit better than ok, but not enough to sign him to what would be too big of a contract. I would rather go get a WR in the draft with their 1st pick and hope he works out or wait and hope another stud WR hits free agency the following year. This team will not compete until it has a stud WR that Henne can rely on.

Based on how this league is going, WR's have become very critical. 10 years ago, I would say go build a defense and get yourself a good back and you can win. In today's world with the talent of these QB's and WR's and the way that league protects these QB's and WR's, defenses just cannot stop these offenses. It's a new NFL and the Dolphins need to adjust.

Go get a stud (via FA or draft) or wait and hope one goes to FA the following year.

.

Our defense makes the bills look good and every sorry *** defense can stop our offense.

Wait a minute. Did we not go through a stretch where we were putting up 30+ points every week? This was with terrible WR's and stud backs. Give this team a stud WR and this offense will be electric.

Can we stop harping on this past week. It was a let-down, agreed. It was embarassing, agreed. It was 1 game, AGREED.

Our defense has so many issues right now that we will make any offense with a couple of ok WR's look special. The problem is that we can't fix this defense in 1 year. It's going to take time replace Bell and Wilson and it's going to take time for Vontae and Smith to gain experience. It's also going to take time to replace Crowder and A-Dole. That's 4 positions that need to be completely replaced with another two that need a year or two to get some more experience.

We can fix this offense with 1 move - GO GET A STUD WR. Get rid of Ginn, let Cam walk if it is an un-capped year (he is a good route runner, but he is also REALLY slow. He just cannot get seperation against good corners). Have Hartline opposite the stud with Bess in the slot.

By doing this, you at least give our offense a shot to keep up with the opposing teams offense. This defense may not even be able to contain the Browns offense at this point. Too many holes. Go try and help the offense out so we can have a chance to to put up 30+, which we seem to need almost every game.

i gotta go with bryant but hes a headcase and hes coming off a injury season.....

scheffler dont sound too bad either hes a upgrade over fasano .....

I tend to agree, but...finding a true stud in FA may not be easy. It's high time this organization starts taking the position seriously and gets themselves a bona fide playmaker. Enough already with the guys with upside or pure speed players. We need a sure thing.
