could have and should have only lost 4 games so far this year and been in the playoffs, im sorry but i definetly think we can compete with anyone

Could've, Would've, Should've

We could've won the Eagles and Patriots games if we didn't pass EVERY DOWN when we were inside the opponents 10 with the game on the line.

The seven games we lost, we lost them because we were not good enough to win.
There's nothing to talk about.

while i love how the team has improved this year. and look forward to next year. if we would have squeaked out 1 or 2 more wins this year and qualified.... we would have lost in the playoffs. we're just not a playoff caliber team.............. yet!..

but i like where we're headed!

heres to 1 or 2 more wins next year, and MAYBE the playoffs..

Go fins!!!!!

We made a lot of progress, Saban has us going in the right direction. Theres nothing to get down about. Going from a 4 win to an 8, possibly 9 win season is great. Look at teams forever in suck mode, Arizona, the Jest (Ok so they had a decent year last year), SF, etc, we were down for a year but next year we are going to be a playoff team. How many teams turn around that quick, yea it happens sometimes but its rare. We have the coach and some serious talent, we need a Qb that can win games for us and make plays then we are a legit Superbowl team.

You are getting your birds of prey mixed up. It was the Falcons.
BTW where is Mr. over rated (Mike Vick) going to be spending his January? Sitting on the sofa like the rest of us.
When we played the Falcons, boy were their fans over confident on this site talking about their destiny.

And a lot of bad calls helped along the way. When we start to dominate, we will start getting those close calls in our favor.
NFL is starting to become just like the NBA.

im happy to be a dolphins fan again next year will be better still

I wouldn't say we weren't GOOD enough to win them. That's pushing it a bit. There were factors that went into why we didn't win. But not being good enough wasn't one of them. We are good enough to beat any team in the league if we don't make bone headed mistakes. We lost some games we could have won. But because of our mistakes, we didn't. Happens to every team. This team was CAPABLE of being 11-5 or 10-6 for sure. We just didn't make plays when it mattered in some of the games.

me too, and that's understated. It has not been an easy journey these last ten years. Think back just one year and we, as Dolphin fans were getting the best possible news. Not everyone believed then or now but at least we all had the chance for hope. That hope, in my eyes has turned into a reality of sorts. I cannot seriously fault anything I have seen take place. We have had some bad games, and we continue to come out flat but there is a light at the end of our tunnel and it is not a train. I believe that THIS coach will learn from his mistakes and as soon as "his" people are in place we will be formidable. Now that we have a year to reflect on, having seen pretty good success LAST off season, this upcoming one should be fun...literally. Can any of you remember an off season you looked forward to more? I cannot save for the beginning Shula days. The early JJ days were filled with anticipation but I had one of my favorite Dolphins fans of all time hatin' Jimuh in my ear...he was right. Can you believe it? we are FOUR and OH in December. Not pretty, not dominating, not a loss. We are about to play in New England, the end of December and we will have an honest shot at beating them. Funny how this years Christmas gift is the result of last years Christmas gift, Nick Saban. Merry Christmas everyone.
