I think you guys would've had a better shot if Feeley had played all game..... he just looked a little more poised, and seemed to be running things better. I think without all the distractions with the hurricane and all, the results could've been different. Also, those of you that noticed I didn't say much about your offense, no disrespect was intended there. I was more excited about our very good offense against your very good defense. It was a little better matchup than an offense that has a few injuries, not a definite starting QB, and a star running back lost in the offseason vs. a very good defense. Your offense did look better than I expected, and once Gordon gets running, and some minor kinks get worked out, the Dolphins will be a force. It may have been a loss, but the team saw some key improvements needed, and with the personel you have, it should be pretty easy to do. And, your defense looked stellar. I wouldn't be surprised to see you guys start somewhere around 1-3, then come back, and win the division with a record like 12-4, or 11-5, and be VERY tough in the playoffs...... Good luck the rest of the way, I'll be popping my ugly head in here from time to time, cause you guys seem to like talking football, and not trash. :D

A classy post, and not simply because you were conciliatory with your views about Miami.

You could well be right. There's a big question mark around this team - if the offense can get their act together they'll be a tough team. But uncertainty at quarterback, tailback and o-line isn't an enviable position. You could be very wrong too, but I hope not. Only time will tell.

Is Brown's injury anything serious? And is he going to be used in goalline sits?

nice post. i hope your right about 11-5 or 12-4

Awesome post. Very level headed and objective. My hats off to you guys for finding a young talent like Brown. And I wish Tennesse the best to get that one last yard before McNair ever has to hang them up. It's easy to root for a QB like him (when he's not playing Miami of course :D ).

You dont know how refreshing it is to see such optimism for our team from an opponent, or just to see someone outside these forums notice the promise in AJ over Jay.

In my book, your always welcome here.

You know, we were watching A.J. Feely, not Danny, but for the first time in years i actually felt like we were going to do something meaningful every time feely dropped back to pass. He just looked so in control in comparison to fiedler who looks like a deer in headlights. He's got fire and talent. Sure a lot of his completions came against soft coverage near the games end, but he played very well against one of the best defenses in the league. Won't be long before he's confy with the wideouts and the line gells. It may take till week 3 or 4 but thats ok. We all saw many positivies and things to build on.

They say that CB (Chris Brown) just sprained his ankle and will be fine...... My fingers are crossed.

Thanks for the kind words. And yes, our D against your O was less of a mismatch than the other way around. We held your offense to 10 pts which isnt bad considering the weapons you guys have. Hopefully we'll get things at QB settled in, our O-line figures out the difference between their arses and a hole in the ground, and Gordon proves to be as good as he has looked to be in flashes. In the mean time, best of luck to you and your Titans...that is unless we do get things working and meet you in the playoffs. :D

Finding Chris Brown is not a big surprise for Tennessee. They have the best college scouting dept in the league IMO, and there are few men around the NFL more capable than Floyd Reese of running a front office.

Very classy post from Tennessee, I actually had a guest from Memphis,TN  in town at the game with my family. He is a DolFan :cooldude: though...

One can only dream that comes true. Nice post from the Titan's fan! Good to see people from other team's coming in here for something other than talking smack.

Very good post. Thanks for talking football and not trash. Not only is it refreshing, but it makes my job easier. :)

I think we would have had a better shot if we didnt make so many mistakes.

Sad that we need a Titans fan to tell us how good our team will be, when all these supposed Dolphins "fans" sit around and bash us to death on this board all the day long. Glad he sees something that some don't. I for one see it, we showed all kinds of promise.
