it will be posted so here we go the bears just releasted jeff george and i know he is old but has the 2nd quickest release in football behind (marino) why not bring him in and have him as a little insurance in case gus or aj dosent pan this year just this year and than draft a qb in the first or go after one of the bolts qbs (brees) like i said he is old but with that quick release that would help him but this is just an oppion dont go alll crazy on me JUST AN OPPION :confused: your thoughts guys :confused:
 
The fact that I didn't know George was still a Bear means that he hasn't done anyhting worth talking about, cause im partially a Bears fan and pay attention to their news as well as ours. If he had anything, the Bears would have kept him or at least let him play Monday. We let Brock play and he hasn't shown anything in practice, although he was decent in the game.
 
I have no experience at the QB position at any level.
I'm a better choice than Jeff George.

So, I can't throw an accurate pass longer than 20-25 yards... and I'm only an inch taller than Doug Flutie. But, with the quitter on our team, the last thing we need is a guy who has said "Leadership is overrated."

Pick me. You can pay me on a game to game basis.
 
Is this a joke? Jeff George is still in the league? WHY? I thought he was a QB coach somewhere. I can't believe he's still playing. Thats NUTS!

The Bears never re-signed him in the offseason. He's been teamless all off-season. Gus will be the man.

I didn't realize he was still in the league either. For some reason I thought he retired a while ago.
