if this team surged at the end of the season. Everyone in our division is playing mediocre right now. Let's see. Gus has to go...but I think Saban and the staff is doing what they can with the garbage they have.

i think the team is capable of doing it, but not with gus, imo.

it will not surge if gus is left in to lose a few more games. by then it will be too late when sage gets put in.

give gus this week against a bad team to see how he does but if he is playing like he did last week.Sage will be in the game at halftime if that does happen with gus. We should be giving Ronnie the ball at least 25 times a game and Ricky 10 times a game.If we can do that we will start winning again and it will keep the defence off the field.

I don't think putting Sage in is any guarantee that we'll do any better. Frerotte hasn't made many game-changing mistakes (if you add them all up they're bad, but he hasn't lost a game on one play like Feeley did so many times). Sage could be like Feeley and make a ton for all we know.

Yeah for how bad we have been playing it still suprises me that we are only a game out of first place. Everyone else in the AFC has the same tough schedule we do but they are more banged up.

Jets cannot win without a QB, Martin will breakdown late in the season and the defense will tire out from being on the field (just like us last year).
Bills are finally going to fold. Those were a nice couple of weeks but Kelly Holcomb is to Buffalo as Gus Frerotte is to Miami. Also the lose of Takeo will hurt them sooner than later. Their run defense is week and if that happens their amazing secondary isn't much of a factor in games.

New England is the odd ball. They can grind out some games but Corey Dillon is hurt (and old), Harrison is gone for the year. They have to get over some big retirements, their defense is playing awful and Teddy Bruschi will probably not be that big of a factor. The bottom line is their defense isn't even playing well. They are giving up one the highest amounts of big plays. They are doing bad in both run and pass defense and they are allowing over 23 points a game (I think). That is not to mention the slew of other injuries to guys like Matt Light.
