ITP under the microscope: Miami's OL vs Buffalo DL

Its nice but I feel like they talk too much. Just explain the play. They get distracted it felt like. 10 minutes in and they barely covered 1 play

I never thought I'd be saying, "That offensive line performance was a thing of beauty"

I appreciate the level of information they provide. I have been very critical of James, but he was fantastic on the plays they showed.

Having the scouting experts break down some of these plays was terrific. If we can keep our O-line healthy, more wins are ahead for the team. Also hope that some FH posters who delight in knocking Pouncey and Ja'Wuan James were able to watch this.

I wonder if the people at PFF breaks down film like this?

Well to be fair James got benched for a reason. To his credit he's come back and played well. Same thing with Ajayi....as far as Pouncey, most people on this board(myself included) felt he talked a good game but the production hadn't match his talk. Now since he got back in there he's played well also. I still believe that o-line play is about talent but also about effort and ever since 4 guys got cut in one day the rest of the team have been giving great effort

Ozzy rules!!

They also got healthy.

Has anyone else made the conscious connection that 2 of the players these guys were absolutely raving about: James and Landry are the picks of Dennis Hickey -

(not the glorified capologist/failed GM/league-banished sports agent who couldn't wait to get more competent people like Dennis and Dawn out of the building) ???

Vaark - What we don't know is whether they were Chris Grier recommendations. Grier was Hickey's right hand guy. The Jarvis Landry pick was brilliant, because too many fixated on just his poor 40 time. This was a rare occasion when we got it absolutely right ahead of the other teams. I also tend to give Tannenbaum the benefit of the doubt this year. I like the Gase appointment. I like the coaches Gase has assembled. I like the Tunsil Draft pick when lots of other GMs were risk averse. I like the addition of Kiko Alonso to address the glaring weakness at mike LB. I like the Xavien Howard Draft pick, as well. I like the Ndamukong Suh FA pick up last year and Abdul Qaddus looks a decent FA pick up this year.
OK, I get it, you don't like Tannenbaum, but there is greater cause for optimism in Miami this season with some better decisions being made. I don't know who is responsible for them but Tannenbaum was probably a key player.
