baaahhhh. Have fun up in the sun. Bring some clothespins for the nose bleed.

Also, why would the network buy the remaining tickets???? Not gonna happen that way!

Good luck...I don't even think that there are tickets less than 30 bucks each. Maybe in the family zone...but I doubt it.

I believe that they have on occasion so that they can broadcast it.

yea...it looks like im gonna end up in the nosebleed section.....as for the network buying the tickets, it is my understanding that at times CBS will buy the remaining tickets if the game is close to selling out in order to show the game

i bought tickets for 50 last year and i was pretty much at the top.....but in the middle. they were good seats, though it was a night game. and it poored. but i dont think any seats are bad, cept maybe in top corner.

It happens all the time down here. Almost every home game down here is threatened to be blackedout, it's usually the local network affiliate that pays to get the remaining tickets purchased so they can air the game.

Like I said...i doubt you will find tickets for the amount of money you want to spend...and you are correct about the networks buying tickets...I would imagine that the local affiliates stand to lose a bunch of money in advertising if the game isn't shown locally.

ahhhhh OK, local affilliate, because it is for "their" community and who they support as a home team........but CBS Sports buying them to me sounded like a resounding "hell no"

so when do we find out one way or another if the the game is going to be shown on tv? I thought the 1pm deadline was it. When will someone make an announcement?

i second that

Happens all the time, or some local companies buy the remaining tickets. If the network can't air the game they don't get any advertising money.

I got tickets for $30 a seat in the upper section last year from a guy outside the stadium about 1 hour before kickoff...but it was the Browns game and very, very cold.
