No matter where I go, there I am.
...no way they would look past the Chiefs the way posters here have. No way they wouldn't come into this prepared. No way they would come into this game flat, thinking about next week instead of the game in front of them.

Yep, it's a good thing we could rely on them not to make the same stupid mistake so many posters here did all week.

I'm sure Sparano did everything in his power to make the players focus on KC this week. But so far it looks like he failed in those efforts were the Defense is concerned.

What defense? we allow KC to rack 326 yards in the first half only!!! we're in trouble :(

This is what i said. the severity of the jets game depends on this game, know one listened. i cant believe how sluggish the D is playing with the PLAYOFFS on the line!!! sad!!

Thank god they pulled it out in the end...Channing Crowder probably made more money for himself by NOT playing in this game than he did in any game he played this year.

Defense clearly overlooked the game. It wasnt until the 2nd half did they play better. If we played as good the first half as we did the 2nd this would have been a laugher but because we did overlook them it was much closer than it should of been. Sporano and Pennington clearly said something motivate the defense to step up and play.

The problem with the defense was that they refused to play physical in the first half because of the cold weather. Once the boys realized what was at stake they stepped it up and started playing physical and making tackles. Most people are gonna remember solely what happened in the first half, but I'm proud of the fact that they stepped up and adjusted even when KC's scheme matched up well against us.

If you can put your mind behind the win then you will feel ok. Keep this in mind, we came into a game that we were slated to fail due to our nice weather in Florida.

We gave up 28 points in the first half and we gave up 3 points in the second half. While there are startling differences we can safely say that giving up 3 points in the rest of the 2 quarters was big for our defense missing our great linebacker Crowder.

the defense didn't overlook this game, they just aren't that good. When you have guys like Nate Jones, and Culver out there, your not very talented. The Chiefs had no fear and tested our secondary and won most of the time because of it. I'm not knocking these guys much because theyy certainly weren't brought in to be starters and their doing fine for what they are, but ultimately we all wish we had some more talent at their spots.

That's what happens when your a team with nothing to lose like the chiefs, you sling the ball everywhere and go deep a lot. If you fail, who cares? And when you've got that kind of mindset, it makes things very comfortable for a QB, which Thigpen was for almost all of this game. Thankfully Goodman and Jones both got their hands on a pass to nullify drives.

No matter where our first roudner is, it's either A) a NT or B) CB/S. I'd guarantee it.
