I remember saying that we should entertain the thought of drafting Hester in the 4th or 5th round last year, and I was railed by various resident draft gurus. Still wondering whether Hester's 4 punt return TD's could have helped the fins win some of their close games this year.......

your right!!!!

I was totally on the Draft Tom Brady #1 overall bandwagon and the fins let him slip by...6 times!!!!! We could have 3 Rings by now if they had just listened to me!!!

Hester was projected as a 3rd rounder...big difference.

Your the greatest. There you go is that what you wanted?

unfortunately we didn't get to see what Toledo can do this year. It may turn out that Toledo has a better career than Hester, which would work against you. That's still to be decided.

it's not exactly automatic that he would also have four return TDs here in Miami. He's also muffed a few punts, which is trouble. I would say it's been an up and down year for him, but there's no question that the future is looking bright.

special teams has hurt us at times this year, but I lay the blame more in Mare's direction rather than Welker's.

its one year.

Dante Hall was great 2yrs ago returning all those punts and kickoff and where is he now. I havent seen him do anything like that since. I dont even think he returned more then 1 TD since then. Teams will adjust and shut him down.

sorry guys...guess I'm still a little bitter that people called me a UM homer for saying that we should consider Hester in the later rounds.

Yes, but he is still very dangerous and could break one just like that. teams still worry about him so that makes him a very viable threat even now

Hester was gone by the time we picked Toledo anyway, and we didnt have a 2nd rounder so we really never even had a shot at Hester

We didn't have a 2nd rounder. So unless you were suggesting taking him in the first round, the fact that you wanted to draft Hester is irrelevant.
