Its a tight end league. Miami needs to invest heavily into one.

Graham and Gronk were well within range of us. It was unquestionably an area of need. Some would call it a mistake, but anyone who reads this forum would know that Ireland doesn't make mistakes.

I have been vocal about this since 08. And people then, because of his 10TDs, were enamored with Fasano. Like the team, it was smoke and mirrors. Fasano is a good backup TE, or starter for a Martz style system. But to be successfull, you have to threaten the seams, and give especially a young QB, a safety blanket.

The Fasano fan boys will be around to defend their love child soon.

It gets better. That pats use theirs as running backs too and look at the chunk yards their getting. These guys are just too damn big and fast for DB's these days.

I have been saying this for a while and others on FH have as well. It's sad that the Dolphins cant figure out how a power offense is what wins in the NFL today.

Sorry if you want tight ends on this team .they most be Italian and from Jersey

Man you bet me to it! I was just getting reading to finnish eating, get online and post just that. Next draft has to be 1; WR 2; TE 3; OL

Hey Jcane what did Parcells grade Jimmy Graham at? We drafted a ****ing Kia over Gronk!

Come on, people. Put the blame where it belongs. Until this season, PARCELLS was "the big enchalada" around here. And everyone KNEW IT. And in PARCELLSBALL, TEs block. The only exception is the occasional 11-yard-or-less "curls" and "slants".

As to FASANO, I enjoyed seeing him get thrown to in the 15-30 yard range. And CLAY seems to be a for-real pass-catching TE. Why do we think such sacraligeous thoughts? Because PARCELLS is gone, and DABOLL actually seems to be familiar w/21st Century NFL Football...including using the TE/TEs as receiver(s). So we got to SEE IT a little bit this season! I REALLY hope that we keep DABOLL. I can't remember the last time MIAMI was one of the leaders in pass plays over 20 Yards. And I have to go way back in DAN's career to remember seeing so many deep passes/COMPLETED deep passes. I want more of the same!

If we somehow can get Blackmon or Floyd along with Fleener
we have 1 unreal offensive weapon package!!!

Although I don't mind Fasano and Clay being on the team I think we need to make a big push for a elite TE. I don't know if we can get him, but Jeremichael Finley is a FA this year and I think we should really try and get it done.
