Personally I like our TE talent. I think the issue was our OL at times needed alot of help from our TE's to protect our QB. Sprano from what I understand is very big on pass protecting the QB, as far as blocking schemes. More than most other OC's or HC's.

I think Fasano is a very capable veteran TE and Clay IMO has a ton of potential.

I would move up in the Draft...BUT not for a QB. I'd look to move up for BLACKMON.
absolutely. If we could grab him and a TE, trust me all that talent in our receiving corps would make Moore into a top 10-12 qb. Moore still has a little more potential and with this combo I'd feel more comfortable going into next season than with the current qb prospects.

He's a cornfed lineman. Of course he's ranked higher.
There is a guy on here that claims he took a piss next to Parcells at the Senior Bowl. Parcells ask him for one choice he said Graham we need a TE. Parcells went off called him stupid n left. Finheaven GM..... 1Parcells.... ZERO

I think it was jim1 from the draft forums but not 100% sure. I do remember someone saying it though

Roflmao! Setting the edge.... I love that term!

MISI wasn't supposed to be that kind of OLB. He was supposed to be a good pass-rusher, w/upside once he developed other moves besides his "bull rush". But he never developed anything worth mentioning. As a pass-rushing OLB, MISI's a bust, plain and simple.

And I agree w/you about "setting the edge". That's nice "icing on the cake", but it IS NOT the cake itself. In today's NFL, pass rushing ability is paramount, by far. "Setting the edge" is getting to be almost unimportant. This is true everywhere, but nowhere more than in the AFC East. There's only ONE real way to defense Mr. T BRADY...and the GIANTS showed it in the SB. PRESSURE HIM UNMERCIFULLY: that includes sacks, hurries, and knockdowns. MISI, and IKOOKOO-I'M-A-FRENCHFRY (or whatever his name is) aren't what's needed. In preseason, we had a rookie (d/r his name) playing OLB who was fast as lightning, and could bring pressure on the QB. He was 6'5"/235, and his height/weight and SPEED reminded me of a teammate of his, named JASON TAYLOR. But MIAMI's geniuses valued "bigness" and "setting the edge", just like the antiquated, opinionated dummy PARCELLS. So, MISI (The Bust) and FRENCHFRY stayed, and they tried to park this VERY talented Rookie on the practice squad. He was grabbed up quickly (by CLEVELAND, I believe), and we're stuck w/The BUST and FRENCHFRY!!! And T BRADY is very grateful, because w/only WAKE to worry about, things got a lot easier for the PATRIOTS' OL.
