Hopefully Wayne H has learned (this time) that he doesn't need to always play the part of the nice guy.
It all sounds splended, we have such a kind owner of our beloved Dolphins but truth be told under Waynes watch the once proud franchise is now, and has been since Wanny, the joke of the NFL.
Hopefully Saban walking out on him will teach him think Dolphins first and then the well being of the (wealthy I might add) individuals he hires to run his teams. Wayne should start to expect more results and less excusses. The only thing the Dolphins have had under his watch are excusses. Wanny should of been let lose at the first sign he was ruining the product on the field. I want to hear him say "I EXPECT this team to make the playoffs" and make his coaches live up to those standards.
I know the talent is on this team to at least be a wildcard, all we really lack is a QB. Yes we are not the leagues best in other areas but good enough. The Dolphins are not a expansion team and I feel every year since Wanny that we only have those type expectations, from certain fans, and from the Dolphins org. When was the last season the Dolphins realistic goal wasn't "to improve" but rather to be the best...if you don't know the answer that was in the Shula years.
I'm one of the ones who thought Saban didn't have it after 6 weeks into this season. I'm thrilled he is gone. We need a football mind in Miami, a chessplayer on the gridiron and not another Hyped up guy whos talks to his agent as much as he talks to the press or his players.
I like Martz, if you were wondering.
