Its been 27 years since the Dolphins offense ranked in the top ten. Will that streak end this year?

The last year the Dolphins ranked top 10 in offense was 1995. With Dan Marino and Shula.

Is this the year with the weapons we acquired, that the streak ends?

I’d say this year or next year we break through.

Other than when Ricky was elite or we had Pennington and the wildcat, we have tolerated boring, uninspired offense. The littlest thing would fill our hearts with hope but they were all false breakouts.

Hopefully we are on the verge of real explosiveness.

It depends entirely on the play of the offensive line. They have the skill position players and a QB who have the talent to make this a top 10 offense if the OL develops into a much better unit than it has been in recent years.

Wow. 27 years, unbelievable. That’s for total yards. FWIW, the Phins 2014 offense was top 10 in points and DVOA. I hope we’ll be top 10 in any measure this year - but if I had to choose, I’d go with points.

We top 10 this year.

I don't care where they rank in total yards. I care about red zone efficiency and third down efficiency, both areas Tua has done well.

We are top 15 in yards and top 10 in those two categories we are in real good shape.

If everything works out on medium level, I'd agree. 2023 would be the year going into it expecting top 10.

The objective of the offense is to score points. So if the Dolphins were top 10 in points scored in 2014, that’s really all that matters. The rest of the stats on offense are meaningless unless they lead to points on the board.
