Fasano and Ronnie's contract is up after this year & Ricky in 2011. I'd like to see us try to get tight end JERMAINE GRESHAM from Oklahoma. He is out for the year so he may drop value and be able to fall in our lap. Running tight ends are a huge factor these days, i.e. Dallas Clark who we all know too well. This guy has hands and strength to match....whatdaya think?? Also, might need to pick up a back. I love Cobbs but if we can't re-sign Ronnie or even if we do, then we need to look to groom another back. Spiller, Best, and Dwyer will be gone...maybe i'm partial to the U but i like J. James in the 2nd-3rd round....I think a solid tight end will help the receivers tremendously. Any thoughts i'm overlooking to fill before these?

I would like to see us get some kind of weapon for Henne to throw to but first I would like to see how Henne pans out.

If we could get Gresham in the second round I think that would be great. I think we need a NT in the first round, if one is avail. We should be picking in the 10-15 range, so we should be able to get a very good player that drops. You always want to pick the best player, so we'll have to see what players are available.

i just think a good TE is almost like a great RB which is a qb's best friend like Jason Whitten, Dallas Clark, etc. I think it would give the receivers bigger plays since the safety has to pay closer attention to a solid running TE who can't be covered by a LB. But ya LB is another need with Porters age, although i thought we just re-signed Crowder. Maybe bc it's still early but i haven't heard of many LB studs in the upcoming draft

Id like t see us go OLB,or ILB in round 1,seeing how Porter is nearly done in this league, and I really dont see Sparano extending JT,seeing how as Wake is starting to come alive....would want any "progress stoppers" in Wakes way.I think we could go NT,but very few 3-4 NT are available in round 1....Kenrick Ellis is a very intiguing player out of Hampton(Langfords school). Also theres 3-4 NTs all around the 3rd roudn and lower,so I can definately see us wwaiting til at least round 3 for that position.I would think with Gresham not playing thisyear,2nd round is a definate possiblity, seeing how s Sean Smith fell to us,damn near the end of round 2,so anything is possible, seeing how as a posters prediction of where we should be picking is correct(10-15 range)....which I completly agree w/

You don't think we'd take him in the first if he was avail? But yes NT will be a need with Ferg's age

Ya JT is prob done, just wanted to retire wearing the fins jersey! Yes I've heard of Ellis from Hampton but never really seen any of his games! That'd be great if Gresham could fall to us in the 2nd but i really don't see him going to the mid 2nd but that'd be great if so! Speakin of S Smith, i'm trying to find a jersey of his without having to pay $99 for the custom nflshop one

Dallas Clark may be a FA and Indy may or may not give him the huge contract he is looking for.

He already has the ring, he might as well take some celebrity money as well.

it all depends on where we pick and whose available.

If we are a top 10 pick, here's my top 5 for us.

1.Eric Berry
2.Taylor Mays
3.Ndamukong Suh
4.Dez Bryant
5.Gerald McCoy

If we're in the 11-20 range...
1.Sergio Kindle
2.Arrelious Benn
3.Terrence Cody
4.Greg Hardy
5.Arthur Jones

21-on...
1.Brandon Spikes
2.Rashad Jones
3.Corey Wooten
4.Sean Witherspoon
5.Brandon LaFell

This can/will all change, but those are the guys I'm looking at.

That list looks about right.

Let me just say this, the draft is gonna be loaded with front 7 guys that fit the 3-4. I forgot that Marvin Austin and Rolando McClain could enter the draft this year as well.

Yeah we have good DE play with Langford/Merling/Starks/McDaniel, but guys like Wooten and Jones can do move than those 4 do so they'd be tough to pass up. I dunno if Suh and McCoy would be very good NTs, but they are both top 5 talents so if we had a chance at them we take them (Except over Eric Berry, maybe Taylor Mays). Cody is a NT, but I dunno how his stamina is.

Kindle has been great as a pass rushing LB in Will Muschamp's hybrid defense. He's a little too small to be a full time OLB so I think he could play ILB for us. Greg Hardy would be an OLB, and he's also just a physical freak. Witherspoon is an ILB, but he's a freak athlete too.
