To start, they have Miami picking 14. I don't know how accurate that is, I think we'll be later in the draft than that. Regardless it's a boring draft for Miami, and not one I'd be a huge fan of. http://walterfootball.com/draft2015.php.

In Short:

Rd 1. La'el Collins - G - LSU
Rd 2. Jaquiski Tartt - S - Samford
Rd 3. Gabe Wright - DT - Auburn

Yeah...that doesn't blow my skirt up. I think a safety would be a great pick, but go after someone like Derron Smith instead. And the reasoning behind Wright is that Odrick will command big money. Well Fede or Johnson won't. Collins I understand, but with guys like oh I don't know...Kevin White, Davante Parker, and Sammy Coates right there, I'd be hard pressed not to take the game breaker. It's November dude...easy does it...months to go before you need to get all bent out of shape...sigh....

Fixing the interior line is a must. Not much in FA either this offseason.

I like Devin Funchess. He is a guy that can make a difference…match up nightmare.

CB, S and LB can also be looked at. Could Miami be selecting at a point in the draft that you could have the best RB's available to snag?

Billy Turner and Collins could make for some rugged interior players for Miami.

Lol at Mariota #1.

I really like Collins. Don't know if the staff will see him as a scheme fit, but I think he's a good enough athlete to play OG in our ZBS. I don't see AJ Johnson falling out of the 2nd, but I wouldn't pass on him in the 3rd.

I like the first rounder but not sold on the 2nd and 3rd.

I think we are good at safety. Chances are they resign Delmas who i think has been good and get Thomas back and keep developing Aikens.

DT is a head scratcher, Mitchell and Starks will be there for sure. At worst i think they franchise Odrick. Not to mention Anthony Johnson is there along with Francis back from IR.

I would like a CB and a RB instead.

Hayden, is Collins a fit for Miami's zone blocking scheme?

I don't see us picking at #14 with a 6-4 record....9-7 or better should have us picking closer to 22nd or so...probably just outside making the playoffs.

I like AZ State WR Jaelen Strong. We could also beef up the O-line.

Should say that I don't think Collins will be available when we're drafting. Collins is the best OT that I've seen in college football. Not a definitive ranking, but I think he's probably a top 10 pick.

How would you rank Funchess with the likes of other potential first round wide receivers? I know he could be viewed as a tight end by some teams.

I saw a mock back in Oct that had the phins taking Funchess which would be ok. However, I like Issac Blakeney from Duke more.

Miami still needs LB help and McKinzy from Auburn plays MLB but could move outisde.

We can't compete for the playoffs until we have 5 1st rounders starting on the line and preferably 1st rounders backing them up. Then we can start discussing how we can score points in the redzone for once, though by that point, we'll probably have to use our 1st rounders to replace the older 1st rounders on the line. Fortunately, judging from the game last night, we can just make one of those 1st rounder O-linemen eligible.

Some interesting players still on the board when they have Miami taking La'el Collins as a guard.

Kevin White at receiver. Marcus Peters at corner. Melvin Gordon at tailback. Even if you're going the guard route, A.J. Cann they have available.

Hell they also have Miami taking Jaquiski Tartt with Marcus Peters still on the board and there's no way that will happen.

I'm not as high on AJ Johnson as you. I see a lot of Philip Wheeler in him in the few games I watched. Seemed to miss a lot of tackles...didn't see much of him in coverage but I haven't gotten around to the linebackers yet...the little time I've spent on them has been underwhelming for this class.

We won't be picking 14th...as of right now I have us picking 21st. Last year we were 8-8 and picked 19th so they must think we're going to be 6-10 or 7-9.

I don't see Miami drafting a guard in round one with Turner waiting to move in.

However.....with the DT's we have in this division....having dominant guards might be a good idea.

I think Miami needs a big receiver or great tight end for the red zone.

We could also use a dominant playmaking linebacker.....and you never have enough good corners in a league designed for passing the football.

devante parker please. PLEASE!!! I might be biased as a Louis-villain, but this kid is imo the next Dez, Demaryus, Gordon etc.
