Though seemingly ineffective, Miami’s defense is currently tied for seventh in the NFL with nine sacks. Cincinnati has given up 12 sacks on offense, which is tied for last in the NFL.

Miami currently has eight players who registered at least a half sack, with Ndamukong Suh leading the team with 2.5 sacks.

Expect Cameron Wake to receive more snaps this week in an effort to make pass rushing a factor. Wake is relatively ineffective against the run, so if Cincy is having its way on the ground, Wake will likely remain a non-factor.

Did not know cincy leads the league in sacks allowed... Interesting point but I still feel like Miami can't stop the run and the Bengals are going to run it down our throats

Apparently the Bengals can't run the ball. That's why Dalton has so many yards. So a bad rushing offense facing a bad rushing defense. Who wins

A steady diet of Landry stew should be on the menu, just don't be a team you aren't if running is not your strong suit then pass the rock to the strenght of the team, tannehill go an get 3rd and 1's, don't it off 5 yards in the back field and take a lost. Pass, pass pass until tannehill's arm fall off and then run to keep them honest.

I'm with you 100% on this. At least get the offense going first with the pass, then run the ball later on. I don't want to see 2nd and 11 on the first two drives of the game.

hopefully we can take more shots downfield to Parker! The defense is garbage and our offense is goina have to win us the game. Hopefully Cam Wake, Suh or Reshad Jones can make a play for us, they are our only hope on defense.

There are two minor changes that have the potential to help. First, is that Butler and Hewitt are probably starting. If they just do their jobs, then the run defense will improve significantly. It is not rocket science. The linebackers need to fill the correct hole; so that the fit between the tackles is good. Jenkins was guessing because he is hurt. He knows he is slower and he tries to get a jump. That was the worst freelancing happening on defense. Yes, I know the ends freelancing hurts. The horrible issue was the linebacker fit.

The other big change is running double tight ends for 10% of the plays. Both Sims and Gary are good blockers. Let's use our strength to generate a running game.

My big question is who will we make a star tonight. It seems we always have a player set records against us and it's not always their recognized star player. It's a rook or 3rd bench guy who has a career day. Pryor last week, Blount killed us week before yadda yadda. Obvious one is Green and I'm sure he'll get his 150 but anyone else in the running?

Well if Cincinatti can't run the ball and they go pass happy, I look to see a lot from Jones tonight. Gonna blow up a lot of WRs and hopefully I get to see another one of his backflips into the endzone!!!

The reason the bengals can't run the ball is cause they haven't played our defense yet.

Ozzy rules!!

They'll be able to run the ball against us.

Bahaha, so true! And don't worry , if dalton wasn't playing well so far, get ready for a breakout 400+ yard game, 3+tds...if we pull this one out, it will be because RT lights it up, lets go get em Ryan!!

Ordinarily, I'd be jacked up about the game tonight.

After last Sunday, not so much. May not watch it.

I suspect parents with children who squander their potential feel much the same.

I used to say hey, at least the Browns don't have the "glory days" to try and live up to. They suck all the time.

And so do we. The difference is that we shouldn't.

The Browns won multiple NFL championships before the Super Bowl era.
