when i think of all the good years he has had as a dolphin it's going to be sad to see him go as i was so sad when surtain left.we had by far the best secondary in my eyes for years and those two were the biggest part it's just going to be a sad day and i hope we can get a good player for him instead of just cutting him. saying that i was really impressed with daniels he had a good year for a rookie cause they went at him and he respnded with solid play i hope we get another good corner i hope that w.poole gets back to where he was and can hold down that other side i really like him to. :dolphins:
 
I agree it will be sad to see Sam go. But in my opinion, if we can get a draft pick for him, we might as well do it while he still has trade value

no joke, his absence hurt even more because of the Poole injury. Without the Poole injury, we could have at least saved about a million "Reggie Howard sucks" threads
 
As much as i dont want him to go, hes going. Nad the fact of the matter is, heb been past his prime for sometime now and i think we should of kept surtain and let madison go last off-season. O well, this is the saban era, and Madison doesnt fit.
 
Sam Madison was a good Dolphin.........
 
It would be really odd to see Sam in another uniform , but he's not worth his 6 mil cap hit and he's been on the backside of his career for a few years now.
Nonetheless, I will miss him.
 
keeping surtain and waving goodbye to madison doesn't make sense... really, i'm not that sad to see sam go, he's just in my eyes, the last link that i think of when i think of good defense, up until the 4th quarter or until the last month of the season.... no, i'm not over 02 in NE yet.

if madison was all miami and all team guy like he says he is, he'd take a paycut to try and end it right with ZT and JT
 
he is still a good corner but hes a shut down corner instead of a playmaking corner

He is a pretty good corner, not probably, he is. You're right he's not shutdown, that's what Pat Surtain was for us, shut down! But we need to move on from Madison Surtain... We had em both when they were @ their best. Even I'm preparing to see Madison part :(

Yeah, it'll be sad to see him go.

However, think of this - a) what Nick can get from any trade made with him involved, and b) the extra cap space
