It's like 'GROUNDHOG DAY' in here...

NICE ONE!... I'm gonna say 100% Ricky... The ACL scares me and running behind a new OL, you gotta think there is going to be some miscues... I am all about ronnie but until he is 100% I say leave him on the sidelines...

I would have to say that I agree 100% with that, he is too good to come back if he is not 100% and get injured even more!!

Shouldnt this be in general NFL? Seriously if the guy wants to talk NFL QBs that play for other teams thats where to find it. Also he might find another topic like he is looking for.

If you want to talk phins, Im up for whatever about the team. How about how Will Allen is a beast and everyone sleeps on him?

Theres been discussion of what players might get cut who some may not expect or be ready to accept. That was a good thread.

How about how everyone assumes Allen and Bell are the starting safeties? I dont see it.

Pick a topic man and talk about it. Start a thread with whatever you want to talk about instead of saying there is nothing to talk about besides Beck/Henne, JT, and Booker.

Now to reply... Will Allen is gonna be interesting, with the improved DL and hopfully run defense he is gonna get challenged more... Not sold and I think we should be stockpiling CB's like we are everywhere else..

The cuts? Anyone Cam/Ram picked should be sweating.. For real... Bp puts ALOT of stock in his history with players, we've seen it time and time again..

Lastly safety is gonna be one of the best battles in camp... We have what.. 9 at last count??? I do have a soft spot for Bell and Allen not so much... Just my thoughts

I dont know, to me the safeties are pretty easy. Bell and Allen starting with Davis and Crocker as the primary reserves. The interesting person to watch will be Daniels. Will they keep him because of his versatility? Or will they realize he is useless at corner? Or is he actually useful at corner (a la his rookie year) and was simply hampered by injuries the last two seasons?

Who see's more playing time next year Merling or Langford?

Man Langford is a mystery to me... I've been looking for info and readin what people on here think of the guy and I saw a few reprots of how he was the steal of the 2nd day... What do you know of him??

Not much a small school guy who exceled as a D end thats about all i kno

Loved the pick. Lombardi (on the NFLN) called him his impact defensive player of the second day. He is the perfect fit in the 3-4 at end. Huge specimen. Real athletic. Ran a 4.9 at 6'6, 290. Pretty amazing. I think he and Merling both play substantial roles, with Starks playing predominantly inside in a rotation with Ferguson.

Dude great point... Daniels is a complete mystery.. I mean what happened?? The kid had such promise gets unlucky with the injuries but at times looked ummm how to say it... 'beatable'.. lol but it is hard to argue that he showed the chops in his first year.

history with the injuries??? he had any major ones?? and 290 he big enough to play endin the 3-4?

Not that I know of. Dont think so.

And yes, Daniels is certainly 'beatable'. Too slow, probably would fit well in a Cover 2. We shall see, I guess.

Absolutely. He is a mammoth of a man at 6'6 290. Ideal size for DE in the 3-4. Think Marcus Spears/Chris Canty/Jason Hatcher. Coincidentally, yes, they are all Parcells/Ireland picks.
