It's definitely a lack of talent. I have been saying all week how Miami is not a playoff caliber team.. And this is the reason why, which just so happens to be the most important stat in football:

In this day and age the NFL is a passing league. And Miami stinks against the pass on defense, and they have a horrible WR and TE corps who are slow and can't make big plays on offense.

That is a combo that results in disaster in today's NFL.
