It's not Henne, its our 4th quarter Defense or lack there of!

Not sure if this is as much as a lack of 4th quarter play on the entire team as much as it is a case of Buffalo getting on a momentum roll that couldn't be slowed down.

It happens.........

I tell you one of the worse things i saw today and they were a bunch; the defense quit at the end.

Our defense is atrocious and our 4th quarter defense is among the worst in the history of the sport of football. You can't win anything meaningful without a defense. Defensive draft here we come!

The coaching staff blows too.

I know it isnt Ricky's fault. Thats for sure.

I said back when it took the last second heroics of Ronnie Brown and Co. to beat the Jets at home that this offense was extremely exciting. Of course, that exciting offense has since been derailed by the injury bug.

After the New Orleans game, I said that this was the worst Dolphins' defense since the dark ages of Marino's career, c. 1986-1988. And I was so right. If Parcells-Sparano-Etc. don't fix the defense fast, next year is going to seem awfully reminiscent of this year.

Yes the defense needs helps due to the youth in the secondary. What we need is for the offense to open up and score in the thirties to carry them. But that means Sparano and Henning need to grow ba##s and let the players play, and not play not to lose.

The defense didn't throw three picks, Henne did.

If you give the opposing team 3 extra posessions deep in your own territory, chance are they are gonna score a few points. This loss is on Henne.

But he didn't throw a pick until we were trailing.

I mean the first pick was pretty back breaking, but thats after the Bills had kicked a 56 yard field goal. The game was already in their favor at that point.

The defense on the other hand has given up almost 110 points in fourth quarters through 11 games. Thats unacceptable. We're talking almost 10 points a fourth quarter on average EVERY game scored by the opponents? How the hell is any team supposed to win games like that.

You also are not gonna win games by turning the ball over three times. Henne has done a good job of not turning the ball over up to this point, and that's why we have been winning. The defense played about the same that they have played all season, the difference in this game was Henne's play.
