I think some people are forgetting how much time it takes for a team to come together and have chemistry. People keep saying, think about all the rookies we have out there. Well yeah theres that but also, think about how many new players we have out there that werent starting or werent here last year. This was their first game all together and they almost won, Idk how some of you cant see the significance of that.

QB-different from last year
RB-Different from the majority of last year.
FB-Different then last year
WR-Ted Ginn first chance as top receiver
WR-Different then last year
WR-Different then last year
LT-Rookie
LG-Different then last year
C-Same as last year
RG-Rookie
RT-Same as last year but playing different position.

LE-Rookie
NT-Differernt then last year
RE-Same as last year but a rookie backing him up
Lb-(Roth) different then last year
Lb-(Crowder) same as last year
Lb-(Porter) same as last year
Lb-(Akin Ayodele) different then last year
Secondary-mainly same as last year but Bell is healthy right now.

K-Rookie
P-Same as last year.
Kr-different then last year
PR-Same as last year
Coverage unit-Differernt then last year.


Ok do you see all that turnover, and new players, its going to take time and the fact that we were so close to winning against a team of probowl vets is pretty good if you ask me.

to sign or draft playmakers and once again we are VOID of talent
where we really need it, WR and DB!

our offense was going up agaisnt a mediocre defense and our defense
was playing against a HORRID offense VOID of any talent.

in pre season, there is NO game planning. but, having only 2 passing td's
in 4 pre season games should have signaled what was ahead.

the exuses for this team are OVER! no more time to gell, it takes a while
excuse comments. talent needs very little time to "gell", they come out
the gate ballin'! [see eddie royal in denver].

this team BLOWS, its going to BLO all season and unless this regime
drafts REAL talent at wr and db and lose the stubborness of not
going after talent in f/a [bentley, glenn, fanaca, deltha oneil....]
then we are sunk and tuna goes out in 3 years a LOSER!!

this team CAN NOT be built by the draft only in 3 more years. NOT
with black hole of payers on this squad. we would have to have
major hits, big time starters with at least 5 of our draft choices
for the next 3 years to do it. and the oddds of that are to many
numbers to fit on this screen!

you have to add some veteran talent to go with it in f/a and
so far we still seem to be feasting on mediocre, cheaper players
like wilford and starks.

we will win 2 or 3 games this year. but the sad thing is, we could win
double that and have a great start for next year if the trifecta would
bring in veteran talent like glenn and horn and BENTLY!!

theres just NO excuses anymore.

You can say they have done a poor job of drafting playmakers at DB and WR....but that looks like anything but a refusal to do so.
