Two average players...Misi has not even shown potential as an OLB IMO. He gets no pressure at all.

Henne, Merling, Davis, Smith, Odrick, Misi etc. etc. we have been drafting mediocrity to just plain bad for YEARS. Will we ever get a GM..a HC.. or an Owner that knows what they're doing? Can't we even just get 1 of the 3. FFS.

Vontae is just average??? What happened to people saying he is one of the next upcoming elite corners? People are judging him over 2 games in the season the lockout effected which clearly has him out of game shape as well as alot of players??? Also one of those games he was playing the best reciever in the league.

Naw forget this. I honestly dont think anyone was saying he was average in the offseason but after the first two games he is just average? No wonder why the media thinks Miami fans have one of the worse fan base. People are so negative and give up on the team after two games and cant make up there mind on who is elite and who is. I seen today someone said Jake Long is extremely overrated? Damn we do have a terrible fan base.

Here's a few thing I noticed, which shows our game-planning comes up short ....

Tony had a tourist sunburn ... pink face & a bright red nose. This tells me they're out of the bubble for the first time this year during the day ... helps explain our conditioning.

We came out in that "college spread" that Henne did so well in 1st game ... Texans watched tape & were ready ... the ILBs both shot those WIDE GAPs to Henne untouched in a dead sprint every time. The Dolphins quickly closed up the lines, going to a pro-style set. Henne doesn't do as well playing a standard pro-set. (NFL players are too good/fast & that's why they don't run the spread in the Pros.)

Saw we were doomed in the first 10 min of play. We lost the "Battle of 3 Ticks." We couldn't consistently give Henne 3 seconds to operate ... and we couldn't limit Schaub to 3 seconds. That's the "tell" we're going to be easily outscored. (NE runs that spread sometimes, but they're highly polished & can gut you in 1-2s, we just aren't polished enough to run the spread so smoothly.)

These kind of details show the opposition has a game plan & is ready to execute ... we're always surprised & reacting to the opposition. Out-coached plain & simple.

P.S. I didn't see "WHY" our FG was blocked ... but no doubt they see something & exploit it ... we just keep getting abused on basic plays.

So why is Houstona a superbowl contender and not us. U do realize we have lost by an average of 12 points at home and if they wanted to we would have lost by 17 today.
i can easily say the team has shown no heart in its first two games. Also should the heart show up in the games that its needed and not saving it for the Browns next week.

Houston has a great team. A very good team. Thats why they are a superbowl contender. As for winning by 17 we gave them the ball in there redzone. No heart? If we had no heart then why did we fight back the second half? Why didnt we get blown out week 1 and week 2? When a person says a team has no heart then I believe that means a team gives up when they are down by double digit points and dont care no more and get blown out. We havent done that. We get down by double digits and we still try and fight back.

well u see these games as close games and I see games where we have no chance at the end. we havent come close to winning either game
we and Houston had similar records last year, why are they so much better than us. really overall Houston is not a more talented team than us, we just have horrible coaching and a defense that is playing horrid

They have a great back field, great QB, Good TE, and a good defense. Stuff we really dont got. Also there Line is pretty good. Like I said our defense can be good but I dont see them being at there best untill there all in game shape. Houston Defense was clearly in shape. Our back field looked solid with Daniel Thomas having a good game but they got a Good QB and ours is Average at best. We dont got a TE or O-Line. Now that being said it doesnt mean we have a 3 win team.

we supposedly had a top defense and an improved offense. No way Houston should have beat us down like they did. Hell be glad when we get those three wins. This team is really setting itself up for a spiral downward this year. if we lose at Cleveland Sparano should be fired immediately

You're the first person on this forum that gave the Texans credit for winning. I've actually been reading posts on this forum since last Monday to see what you guys thought about the Texans. I just didn't understand all the talk about "we should beat this team". As if the Texans are a push over team. Then when the Dolphins do lose, all i see is how you guys messed up. Can't we admit that the better team won today? Weren't there some amazing individual plays by the Texan defense( JJ. Watt blocking the field goal; Mario's deflection and Josephs interception; KJax's forced fumble).

You gave given your board some respect that they almost lost. I really do appreciate the honesty. Going into the game I was worried that the Dolphins would pose a formidable opponent. I thought it was an honorable win.

First of all A. Fasano is good we just had a bad game, R. Bush can be a every down back but less is more with him 100% the saints used him well in this aspect and we need to use him like they did more.

Thankyou man. It seems like the Dolphin fans are all negative on here and probably all these guys thinks im crazy but when a fan from another team comes in here and says that then that shows im saying something right. All fans look at the dolphins fans and think they are idiots and im not trying to look like that and stay positive to my team.
