This is what gets me mad. If he wanted to leave to go back to the college game because the nfl is not for him, Im ok with that. The fact that he Lied to everyone is what pisses me off. For someone who preaches team unity, being committed and who talks about fighting adversity he so full ****.

Are you guys mad that he left or that he lied?

I'm a little mad, but I'm also excited to find out who our next head coach is. And by these comments:

"And that's what everyone with the Dolphins wants, to win. So win, win, win. That's all I can say. We're going to go out there and kick some butt and make something happen, I guarantee you."

It kind of gets you fired up to see what's in store for the future! I think Wayne is going to take a different approach and look for a Head Coach that will have us set for the next 7-10 years.

Im mad that he left.

He lied before to MSU and LSU and now Us.
So why is everyone mad that he lied? Because it us now?:shakeno:

I am pissed as hell at this guy. I hope Alabama gets caught cheating (as usual) and he gets fired. Nick is dead to me and he is a man of no character in my eyes.

GO DOLPHINS

<---- does that answer your question?

I can't say that I am surprised that Nick went and pulled something like this. I mean the guy just clearly crumbled under pressure, we gave him that first year pass, and we talked about the guy like he had done so much for us. Well here comes his second year and the guy still stinks up the place, for a guy that talks about dicipline he sure can't get his guys to play with any. I mean if this guy was so great, maybe just maybe he could have gotten Chambers to actually play. Instead CC was crying all year about the offense yet everytime he got his hands on the ball he dropped it. Double goes for McMichael. I say, we find us a coach that is actually going to stay around and bring some kind of discipline to this team, before we end up like the Lions. And just for the record, I wonder what happened to those Rocket Scientists that said the Brees wasn't worth the risk but Cul-Pepp was, Wow real smart choice there.

Huizenga got me fired up when he said "im willing to spend whatever it takes, and do whatever it takes to WIN...and money is not an issue"...i got chills up my spine when he said that. I believe him too, he is taking this personal like we are, but he is doing the politically correct thing in the media and saying all the right things.

Did you notice him say "i want to win NOW more than ever". He is pissed...thats all i had to say and hear, im glad to be a dolfan, we will come out of this a better team now.

You should be happy he's gone.

I am.

It had nothing to do with lying; most people keep job searches and negotiations secret from everyone else, and deny that they are looking into another job if they're asked outright.

The thing is, call me a bigot, a snob, or a South Florida cheerleader if you want. But anyone who (or whose family, if you believe him) prefers living in a southern college town to living in South Florida simply doesn't belong as coach of something as cool as the Miami Dolphins.

I wouldn't even consider living anywhere else but here; not for all the tea in China. Those who don't like it here can move out if they want, and I won't shed a tear.

he had me up on my feet this morning with a nice fist pump!!

well, I dont mind the lie, I mind the going out for feelers when the season was going on.

The media stayed on the subject because they knew on the Alabama end that this deal was basically already in the works.

I would expect him to lie during the season. I would not expect him to get feelers for college jobs.

I knew by the decisions he made in that Jet game, that he wasnt the guy for the job. Then with all his comments on how he is not leaving, then how he delt with the media, he looked pathetic.

Im glad that he is gone, however the way he went about it, was a joke.

I posted this in another thread, but I think it applies here..

I can understand not being happy with how he handled it, but at the time he made those statements he was the head coach of the Dolphins, he hadnt made a final decision yet, and if Im not mistaken press conferences are required by the NFL...If he had come out and said he was considering taking the Alabama job, he would have been blasted just as hard by 95% of the people here. But more importantly, if he had decided to stay in Miami, and said he was considering quitting how would that have worked in the lockeroom, the stadium, and the front office? __________________
