ZACH ON THE FIELD!!

I BET JORDAN WOULD HAVE HAD TWENTY LESS YARDS AND POSSIBLY ANOTHER TURNOVER IF ZACH WOULD'VE BEEN IN...

He has become the leader of this defense and the team. You could feel the presense missing...

Not sure if this is true..The defense was very intense yesterday..A couple of bad calls especially on 3 potential INT's would have made this game more lopsided...

I don't know... Pope had a big game. Crowder overpursues a little to much... I attribute that to his intensity. Seau did it constantly all season.

I dont know about that. He would have had a sack and made some plays though.

The defense yesterday seemed a little faster yesterday to me, probably due to the younger guys playing.

I really don't think that is the case... The whole team came out flat and seemingly uninspired at Cleveland.

If Zach would've been in that game yesterday I think it would have been a far less productive day for there O.

I'm not so sure that Zach would have made that big of a difference yesterday. I mean no disrespect to Zach, I just think that Crowder, Spragan, and Pope did a nice job.

To really grade the value, you have to look at what plays would Zach have made that the others didn't. I can only think of one play (albeit an important one) when Jordan had the 8-yd touchdown run untouched. I feel that Zach would have made the play to prevent him from getting in.

I liked the defense much better without Zach in there yesterday. I'd like to see it some more.

I thought the D looked good yesterday. Obviously with a healthy Zach they prob would of had a better game as a unit, but that is football in the NFL.

There are 2 places when we really miss Zach. One is goal line stands, he always seems to just know where they are going to run the ball and always has his head in there before the running back decides he is going there. Also similarly on 3rd and short plays.

I think the young guys did a great job yesterday though. They will also get much better with experience. I dont think Zach is going anywhere no matter what some people say. With these young guys getting advice from Zach they will be very good players. It was good to see yesterday they were talking about Crowder and he was telling the announcers how much he has learned from Zach and how he tries to be like him. That to me was some of the best news of yesterday.

I am just glad it went as well as it did. The fact that people are having this conversation (and disagreeing on it) says some good things about our LB's. I was afraid they would be a real weak point in this game.

Kind of a homer thread....
yea.. Zach is a great players... yadda yadda yadda..
But Give props up to the young kids who played a VERY good game.
RELAX.... Zach isn't going anywhere.. But you just had a look at the future.

It was clear we missed Thomas yesterday, our d-line was the reason the game didn't get out of hand. Crowder and Pope made some very poor reads and we payed for it giving up some big runs and easy scores. 21 points to a brain dead raiders team is not an achievment. Pope gave up extra yards after hits though Crowder killed people when he was actualy in the right possition.
