Getting 2 3rd round picks for one of your absolute star players is a crappy way to start rebuilding.  1st and 2nd round picks for your top players is a much better way to rebuild.

No, this was to clear cap space for a larger move.  It has to be, otherwise I will start to believe that Ireland is the worst GM in the league.

that trade is crap. I AM PREDICTING WE SIGN LOW LEVEL FREE AGENTS AND BUST ON OUR ENTIRE DRAFT. THIS TEAM CANNOT DRAFT. how is an extra 3rd this year and next going to help us.

There is a crapload of very good WR on the FA market that is why the price was so low. Vincent Jackson, Mario Manningham.
We can turn around and sign someone that fits what Philbin wants to run and we get two third rounders.

Despite the Pro-Bowl year Marshall was well below his potential. He was always ready to throw his QB under the bus. He could be a locker room cancer at times. I wouldnt be surprise if Philbin made the call.

This was a terrible trade to begin(trading for him) with and we rectified that.

Also Marshall is always someone who looks better on paper BEFORE you get him.
He was a headache. Tell me how many games did Brandon Marshall win us for his pro bowl and all that potential.
