I dont think the trade says that..We found a way to get good value for an under acheving WR that had a huge contract.

I honestly don't see the value. I think we could have gotten at least a 2nd or 2nd and 3rd.

I'm not a huge fan of Marshall, but he is a legit #1 WR. If he's not replaced by someone else that's a legit #1 WR, then Jeff Ireland ****ed up bigtime.

That, or using one of those 3rds to move up to snare Blackmon, would be 2 of the few alternatives that would make this deal less than pathetic.

You have to consider that we paid two seconds for him. This draft is pretty deep Wr wise. Two thirds aint bad considering his contract and that he has underachieved for us...

I think I have to agree with this. Does it even matter who we sign at QB now? Who is he going to throw to, Brian Hartline?

Who's out there that's an upgrade over Marshall? Mike Wallace, Reggie Wayne, or draft Blackmon?

Two second round picks. And as Tunaphish has been pointing out, ever since coming here Marshall hasn't been the big receiver he was when he was with Denver/Cutler.

This trade says what we all already knew. Jeff Ireland is a terrible GM, and this team is a laughing stock.

At this point, I'd rather have the love child of Mike Brown and Bill Bidwill.
