We have no starters at linebacker or defensive back who are physical hitters. When you see any other team you see at least 1 linebacker and 1 DB who can lay the wood but we just don't have that. Vontae is probably the most physical of all of our DBs and he is a rookie CB. I think Cam Wake could eventually be a guy who can hammer an opponent but it would just be nice to add some guys who can inflict some serious pain
 
Vontae lays a hat.. Bell can hit like a mac truck. But our LB's and S need to be addressed next year.

Dude Bell has been a big hitter for years. And he's usually chasing someone down because of a missed tackle elsewhere.
 
I have never seen Bell deliver a Louis Oliver type hit, EVER in his career and yes I have watched him since he came to Miami. Bell is hardly a head hunter in the secondary

you're not really allowed to lay the wood anymore. if you do, it's more than likely 15 yards and a first down for the offense.
 
Wilson can lay wood, but he's never in position to do so. Same with Bell, but at least Bell can pursue and wrap up.
 
Bell is a big hitter along with Wilson and Davis, I also think Torbor, Anderson and Ayodele can bring the heat as well.

I'm sure one of his 120 tackles last season was sorta hard.. maybe? The dude is a physical freak and could turn the average human into a bowl of oatmeal if he tackled them.
 
I don't care what Bell can do to the average human being, I want to see him lay the wood on a ball carrier and separate the ball from the ball carrier!!!!

is Eddie Moore still unemployed ? that is how desprate we are at linebacker.

as it is now I think wr and tightend is the only need on offense so I wonder if we should draft 3 linebackers 1 safety and and a teightend and trade for a wr ?
