I don't want to jinx the fins but could it be possible that for the second year in a row, the historically "December fizzling" Dolphins are finishing strong?? I think the trend is shifting and we are turning the corner guys. Now we need to get back to our historically good starts in addition. Go Phinz!

That's a media myth.

It is good to see us finishing off strong. We just need to get the thing going earlier. I am excited about next year already.

The December fizz is not a media myth, it's a historic fact!! The Dolphins have ALWAYS started strong, then fizzled in December. How many playoff appearances did we miss out on because we faultered in December. If we are starting to become a team that finishes strong, then we need to also get back to starting off strong and maintaining it throughout the season.

Is that a fact or a generalization? I'm neither agreeing or disagreeing, but if you are trying to convince someone, you might want to use facts or actual records or games. Just stating it is a fact doesn't make it one.

I suggest you go do your homework, it's a myth!

Technically this year we started off strong.

I mean, the Denver game was great and we should've won against the Jets but we came back and beat the Panthers. Then, we should've beat the Bills. All in all BS penalties killed us in those first 4 games so we should've been 4-0 at that point heading into the bye week not 2-2.

So I didn't see us melt down until we went to Tampa and it snowballed from there.

What I am saying is we need to start strong and keep it going all the way through. Not start strong, get 'tired' and then get hyped up again for the last part of the season.

from the outside we feel when Nick was at LSU he usually started off slower but usually finished strong to get ready for key games, SEC championship and the bowl (if the bowl was worth anything). jmho

i'm just happy because our club is learning to win games against good teams and have played well enough to have won a few others...i like the direction we are going....props to Saban.....chambers...yes gus too...our defense.....we just need to keep improving....we better win atleast 2 more.....get QB and secondary help immediately

we havent won a game in the cold in december though in a long time

I think it is less about a "myth" and more about warm weather teams playing poorly in the cold

Its a media myth

even if we lose in december its not because its december, just because we lost like any other month
