It wasn't pretty folks. But we won. Neither our defense or offense played well overall. But we won. We won ugly...fairly convincingly. We can not repeat this next week and I do not expect us to. We're 4-3 now - over .500 since after the first game of the season. That's good news. No matter how we achieved it. MORE good news: we typically rip San Diego at home. Also, we've yet to play this horrible on both sides of the ball all season (close... but not this bad). I absolutely expect us to come out against the Chargers next week way more sharp. Hell, we have nowhere to go but up after this performance. I'm not hanging my hat on this game. We are not this bad. I'm confused about the defensive game plan...even though, for all intents and purposes, the defense won this game for us. In a way, it's encouraging. Yeah...in a way. However, we can NOT continue to play this way if our intention is making the playoffs. This team has to put it together. If we can put our offense and defense together for several full games, we are a bad ass mother ****ing bunch. Tough to beat. But can we do it?

I'd really love to see that. Unfortunately, this offense doesn't show up until the second half.

I was actually hoping for a bit of adversity in this one for two reasons:

1. I didn't want to waste a good Tannehill performance on a bad team again.

2. Overcoming adversity is how you grow, its something you need to learn how to do and it can only be learned through experience.

4-3 makes the playoffs better than 50% of the time. 3-4 makes the playoffs less than 25% of the time.

I think we have a good shot to beat the Chargers. 5-3 would be a very nice place to be.

I can't tell if SD is very good or just decent. I'd have preferred if they had beaten Denver as this is a must win for them if they hope to stay in the division hunt. Just saying.

Makes sense. Tannehill has like 6 good games a year. No use wasting one on the Jags. Like, duh.

Exactly. Though I'm hoping he improves a bit and has 8 or 9 this year, like every other playoff caliber QB. As an example Russell Wilson averages 11 a year, while Tannehill is 6.5.
