I love the dolphins and really wanted to reach the playoffs this year but its finally time to do what the titans 49ers and other up and comming teams did.
REFREAKINGBUILD! i hate it for zach jt and other older vets but its over were not a playoff team and will not be for a while, its time to be fair and let some of the vets seek a trade IF THEY WANT, but we need picks and young players asap i would not mind another average year if its with young guys but another 6-10 season with a bunch of vets will make me sick. and as far as saban goes i hope he goes because if its not this year it will be the same crap this time next year! we need a nfl coach that loves the nfl not a coach that might jump ship every year! new coach and some hungry young guys! we have some core guys that are not old like ronnie, carey, hagan, hadnot, roth, evans, wright, crowder, bell, allen, daniels so we have young talent but they need more playing time and they need to step up

yeah we have a good chance of getting younger this offseason and still playing well, you could think that the QB could be a positive with lemon at 26 and CPEP at 30, so you could look at getting younger on both sides of the ball with the draft and FA

i think you're gonna get your wish!...JT thinkin this might be it...the back, the foot, the wife (wants him out while he's still pretty, and still mobile - for the kids -)...the age!...and the TV guys will throw a TON OF MONEY at his Madison Avenue looks/intelligence to get him on the small screen...oh yeah, if the TV guys come hard, our homeboy could well bolt for the exit...GOD BLESS him if he does...he's more than earned it!!!

I hate to say it but LINK??? I've never seen anything close to this story.

Sorry, my bad. I just saw the article.:boohoo:

I gotta say that I agree with this line of thought. I'm just so sick of the same old same old. It's sickening. I found myself after the Jets loss saying I hate this current team. Except for a few instances our team is full of overpaid underachievers. We're old and we suck-not a good mix. Of all the teams in our division we have the least to look forward to.

Saban is rebuliding just because he doesn't have a bunch of rookies starting does not mean he isn't rebuilding.

What????

he means Saban is doing a gradual rebuild. The Titans had to blow up because they were literally in cap hell, same with the 9ers a couple years back. The Titans still kept a lot of good vets, they also got lucky with a couple cheap FAs (Kyle Vanden Bosch and Bobby Wade), and draft picks(Pac Man Jones,Brandon Jones, Vince Young).

The 9ers have taken 3 years, but most of their success is through FA (Last year was their best draft class, getting Smith,Gore,Snyder, and Bass)

Both of those teams also had a plethora of draft picks, a luxury we don't have. Saban has gone with the approach of drafting players, and bringing in cheap vets to tutor them.

I hate to say it, but I do not think we're going to be true contenders until at least two years from now. I hope JT and ZT will retire or go play for a real contender next year because they have little chance of winning a Super Bowl in Miami. I hope Saban will stick around because I still believe he can turn us into Super Bowl contenders, and make us consistent performers for a decade or two. We need to get much younger, so young that our avergage starter is about 25.5 years old. Still not sure we should dump Culpepper, though. Really wish we had a good shot at Brady Quinn, or had traded up to get Leinart last year...

Leinart would get killed with our o-line. He wasnt the answer. V. Young would be much better for us.

Leinart isn't a statue by any means. Our problems haven't all been o-line; thoguh we've had a lot of problems at RG and LT all season. Daunte was't ready, Joey (while the first several games weren't enitrely his fault) regressed at the end of the season, and Cleo... is just there.

Leinart would've probably been better than Joey, but he wouldn't have made the difference (don't forget, Vince Young has a really good o-line in Tennesee)

Vince is also the most mobile of the 3 last year. By far. Cutler 2nd. Vince helps make time but still looks downfield b4 crossing the LOS.

we def need to blow the team up and rebuild..i like the idea of gettin jamarcus russell and finally raising our own qb. he s got all the intangibles for the nfl (huge size, cannon arm, and he s pass first), he spreads the ball around well and whatever shortcomings he has r normal for any rookie. we need to get young guys on this team that r hungry and have heart..we should just let booker and the other overrated, overpriced and aging guys go..i rather lose with a young team that shows improvement than this fiasco of a year.

I kind of agree. As much as I like a lot of these players who have been mainstays throughout the years this team has won squat with them. Is it their faults, probalay not, but they were all a part of the meltdowns we have seen throughout the years. I've felt, and still feel, this team has lacked mental toughness for some time now. It's time to blow this roster out and finally start over. Look at the Niners. When we went 4-12, they were right with us. Well that team is clearly headed in the right direction after going into Denver with the playoffs on the line for the Broncos and winning. It's mind boggling to me how the Jets and Bills passed us this season when coming into the year I thought we clearly had the better team. Joey Harrington is devil!!! I do think he was a HUGE problem and I know there are still Joey supporters who disagree.
