every year it seems like the offseason gets shorter and shorter just like high school its almost around the clock type of deal.

I know these guys gets paid a lot of money but all these minicamps are getting to the point where the players dont get enough time off.

If I were the NFL comissioner i would do three things , although I am not sure how well my plans would go over but i 'll give it a go.

proposal #1

I propose to have just one minicamp and have it a week after the draft. then I would eliminate all minicamps from that point on until trainging camp . Here is my thought why not eliminate 5 minicamps and just start training camp 4 weeks earlier and stop with the excessive number of minicamps when you can accomplish more by adding 4weeks to regular training camp.

proposal #2

stop having Detroit play games on thanksgiving I would propose to have 3 games on thanksgiving day and the following sunday give all teams a bye or at least 3 divisions a bye on that weekend.

my wish so to speak is have

Pittsburg vs Tampa Bay
Jaxs vs Redskins
Miami vs Green Bay

Proposal #3

I propose to create a black helmet and black jerseys for this special occasion and wear the all Aqua on the road and were the ornge unis for a late home game if we ever play those time games.:rimshot:

They don't have to play football if it's too strenuous for them. If someone wants to pay me NFL minimum, I'll be at every OTA and TC with a smile on my face for being able to earn a living playing football.

:bs: ehhhhh, NO... I work my *** off for a lot less of what they make, I have 12-day vacation a year.. so for them to work hard 6 months and have full 45-60 days free...

then you want to cut it off even more....

Man Get a Job.....

Most of the prima donnas wouldn't have a clue what it would be like to work a real 40 hour per week job for $40,000-$50,000 per year with only 2 weeks of vacation time.

Um, football is their job.. If they can't handle it, then they can go quit if they want. They're grown men, I'm pretty sure the amount of time a year they do football is the norm to them. Most of them have been doing it since they were just little kids.

Wow, weird thoughts. Why do you follow the Dolphins and the NFL ?
it's a game, why are you so concerned about how many months they
get off and wanting Miami to dress like thugs in black ?

If I want to see ******* dance around I'll go to a strip bar.

P.S. no offense JT

I would take the rookie minimum and work year around. These guys are getting paid thousands of millions of dollars and you want to complain about how much time they have to work? Not to mention they should be playing football because that is their job.

It's a great way to keep an eye on your investment......If I paid someone 15 million in Gur money, I want to see him several times before summer camp begins to make sure he is taking care of himself physically and mentally. As long as they are not required to hit in these OTA's and mini camps I say more power to them.

Thinking about the cut downs facing the Dolphins, I think one of the values of the OTAs is that they give the team a chance to fairly evaluate UFAs before the start of training camp. Several of the young guys are going to have to be cut to make room for the draftees, this way they get a chance to get a fair shake before being shown the door.

Start of training camp = first cut down day.

We need to be ****ty again so we don't have to come to Finheaven and see post like this.

relax people I was trying to discuss dolphins football .

I dont think i really would cut back on the minicamps but i would consider just adding 4 weeks to training camp and only then would i cut minicamps back.

some of you dont realize that those players need time to recover from injuries and that is where i was coming from . I guess i worded that wrong.
