It's Time To Give Ruddy & Perry A Call....

This is without question, the worst OL in the NFL. C S. McKinney sucks, RG T. Whitely sucks, and LT W. Smith looks worse than ever.....

Those three guys need to be replaced. If we ever plan on having a running attack, it's time to face the facts, and realize we'd be better off re-signing Ruddy and Perry to hold down the middle....

I'm sorry, but McKinney and Whitely are horrible. McKinney is the main problem IMO, and when I see him play, he's always over-matched in size. The DT's he's going up against, are simply walking all over him. Sticking with veteran C T. Ruddy would have been a much better opition IMO....

As for RG T. Whitely, I don't know what Dave was thinking when he promoted him as the starter at RG. He was never expected to win the job, and even though I'd seen him at TC, he never stood out IMO. In fact, just before Dave made the announcement that he would start, I thought he was going to be released. That's how insignificant he was to our OL at the time IMO....

The LT / C / and RG positions are in desperate need of upgrades. NOW. :eek:

Hey Rick!!!.....Still got those guys phone numbers handy???....We need Ruddy and Perry back ASAP!!!

I said this last night. Ruddy i dont think is needed since Hadnot can at least hold his ground, but i would not be sad to see Todd Perry back as insurance. Alot of people put perry down, but he was very dependable and did not commit penalties.
 
I think they should just give Carey a shot... can he not play RG? I know he is a tackle but he played guard all last year with the canes.

NO! i think Mccintosh should take over at LT and St Clair at RT and Carey wait for his time when St Clair goes down with an injury. Keep Carey at RT!
 
you really want us to go 0-16 don't you?

those guys are worse than the turnstiles we have.

Sitting back and watching the game last night...I thought to myself...I have NEVER seen Miami's O-Line look so so so BAD. I agree about S. McKinney...our RB L. Gordon had S. McKinney in his grill all night long...as soon as LG got the ball...bam McKinney was getting pushed back right into LG. Wade Smith looks WORSE than last year...his one arm attempts at blocking don't work and he gives up on plays...It just does not look good at all BLITZKRIEG!!!

i didnt say R.T. i said R.G. and he would replace Whitley not St. Clair!

i would be okay with Ruddy and Nails... dont really like Perry. Ruddy did an okay job last year... i dont know if he sitll has it in him but it may be worth a try. Nails i think is really good... he just needed more time to heal.

Bring back the offensive line that reduced Ricky Williams to 3 yards per game. :rolleyes:

and my point is that you DO NOT move Carey to G!
 
He would be better than Whitley at this point. I know Vern, he likes play either... and he is capable of playing either... might as well use our first round pick.
 
Carey struggled at Guard last season for the Canes. I'd rather see him at Tackle, but I understand where you're coming from MissMeth. It's just a sad state of affairs for our O-Line.

I'd rather have an OL that averages 3 yards a carry, than one that struggles to average 1.5 yards a carry..... :D
