I know, I know. Curb your enthusiasm. Miami has been the Larry David of the NFL for nearly 20 years and fast starts can be a mirage. The team has also had to fight to win each week, against two opponents who figure to pick in the top 10 next year. If not for X. Howard, the Dolphins could easily be 1-2. What a fantastic start for him!
It isn't lost on me either that New England has never lost three straight with Billichick as head coach, which is an amazing feat.
There's time for a first, though. Listening to talk radio this morning, all the chatter is about how much Brady misses Edelman(his check down guys)and that's a big reason for their early struggle. Well, take advantage early then. Every team has injuries and things to overcome.
I absolutely expect New England to play a good game, but Miami can steal a few things from the Detroit game and I think they've got a chance. Double Gronk for one. Run the ball,which the Lions had a lot of success with. That's still my biggest question with this Dolphin offense.
Can you imagine the Dolphins staring 4-0 with the Pats at 1-3. This is a big early season game!
