Enough of this fire the head coach but keep the GM. Fire the GM but keep the Vice President of Football operations. Fire the offensive coordinator but keep the Defensive coordinator and lets hope everyone can be on the same page.
Mr Ross its time for you to step and lead your organization. You have not put the right people in place from Day 1. You kept Ireland around way to long you. You hired Tanebaum who was a disaster I New York in the long term.
You need to get rid f everyone, I would suggest you hire Alonso Highsmith as your head of football operations He will turn your franchise around within two years. He is ready to lead an organization. I am fearful of one thing Stephen ross will fire the whole coaching staff and still keep Tannenbaum in place who will decide on the next coach which will be one of his puppets. Its time to stop the bleeding now

It's beyond me how people think Mike Tannenbaum could possibly be included in the house cleaning.

Tannebaum is a horrible executive. He was run out of New York and put them in salary cap hell which they just recently started coming out of. He bet the farm on Sanchez who last I checked was not good enough to beat out Sam Bradford. If you keep Tannenbaum say hello to your next head coach Eric Mangini

You lost me at
keep the Defensive coordinator

well....I don't like Mangini! but im not so sure that even Mangini wouldn't be better, specially if we somehow can bring in someone like Jim Swartz as DC, than what we have now with Philbin and our DC

What has t-bum done so far to make him an untouchable?

I'm not opposed to Highsmith, but it's not happening. We are stuck with tannenbaum for the long term

My worst fear has become true.

He hasn't even gotten to pick his own coach. I'm not saying he is or isn't any good as an exec. Just that he will be given a chance whether you like it or not. People don't seem to understand that the house cleaning from last season has never fully taken place.

Again, welcome to my nightmare, T-bum AND Manswini. T-bum has hit the ground running instantly handing tanny a bizzare salary before his final year is up. I know no one thinks tanny is any issue, but, he is.

I made it a point to watch the pats game and consentrate directly on their o-line. Brady was under diress the whole game. His line was getting pushed in his face constantly.

The difference on those guys and ours? Brady made plays under duress, tanny choked. Fox and thomas need to go but pouncy and douglas and james (who did suffer an awful game against the jags, a fluke) are good players and brady would welcome any of them on his team.

Tanny has this god awful penchant this year of holding the ball to long, showes no pocket awareness and seems to have forgotten hes a good athlete and can run. Just the oposite on brady. That highlight they keep showing with brady weaving and bobbing when the line completely colapsed is a prime example. Tanny just can not spot the single coverage fast enough and is still to scared of the int to throw down field to let his playmaker make the play in tight coverage. And lets not talk about his penchant of missing WIDE OPEN HEADING FOR ENDZONE wr's and te's. Cameron has been the victim twice now in 3 games. Not the markings of a 100 mil qb.

The other difference? Had the pats lost, that o-line would have been chastised. Winning covers a lot of ills. Had we won those TWO games everyone squawks about with philbin and those time clock snafus, no one would have said a thing about them. Tanny isnt the only problem with the offense right now, but, he is a pretty big part of it.

T-bums first move, blowing 100 mil on a mid level qb. The Jet Set is upon us. Just add manswini.

Tannebum will obviously stay... and in dolphins fashion, he will hire another failed jets guy, in Mangina, and RT's prime years will be wasted away by a mediocre squad with a below par coaching staff possibly getting into 1 wild card game in 4 years and the start over will begin..

By then I would have stopped watching football completely.

Tannenbaum is a bum. We need to wipe the entire slate clean. It's too bad that Ross doesn't know a strong football mind who can tell him who to bring in as GM. Then let that GM hire his own head coach while Ross stays the hell out of the way.

It would be like Ross to keep a loser like Tannenbaum so the bum can bring in loser Mangini. When Mangini was Browns coach the players ended up despising him and his micro managing. Just what we need ...SMH!!!
