talks about how he has been playing better in practice and was going to see time against the Bills prior to Lehans injury.

Wouldn't it be nice if the light has finally come on for him! That would would allow us to focus on WR, S, and LB in the draft.
 
He's right of the cusp of breaking out IMO. Just a little more confidence and playing time should do the trick.

I agree, I would love to see us sign someone like Chris Gamble to start next to J Allen and have W Allen play the nickle. (Banking on J Allen continuing to make plays)
 
So, its pretty much what we all have thought the whole time. He just isn't smart enough for a safety.

Allen might shine when we just line him up and say "hey you cover that guy."

Maybe he can be the guy we put on a teams big physical reciever. (coles, boldin, johsnon, marshall) These kind of guys have killed us all year.
 
we need to draft Asher Allen (CB) out of UGA. and a saftey, in next years draft. We have been hearing this about Jason Allen for years now. enough.
 
if people want to have faith in Jason Allen thats fine but he has far from gained my confidence when he cannot beat out Chris Crocker. I dont want to hear about his moving around, hell Troy brown played corner after years at Wr and was actually workmanlike.
 
Even if JA exceeds all expectations it would be foolish not to draft another CB, especially with the players that will be available in this draft. This is a position where you can never have too much talent.

That being said, I hope he continues to improve. If he can play physical and fast, then that is one less concern when opposing QB's drop back to pass.
