I remember last year going into camp and the preseason, Joey was having some serious back problems and missed a lot of camp, some even said it could be career threatening. He then went on to have one of his best seasons, and he didn't even look bothered by it through the season. Was the media blowing the seriousness out of proportion, or was he just sucking it up and playing through it all year? Has anyone heard anything recently about this and the possibility of it being chronic and flaring up again this season, or was everyone just over reacting and he is perfectly fine?

He has some back issues but I think he is working with a hell off a training staff that he has never had before... Not to put down the Steelers staff, I just think the trainers we have are just on a different level... Look at our injuries last year, not very many.... I think it's under control now...

This is 2009. They have some incredible and revolutionary treatments today. Most of which you've never heard of and never knew existed.

10 years ago there was a machine that you would place over a fractured bone and it would fuse together 5 times faster than natural healing.. That was 10 years ago, but it was only used then-- it was actually invented 30 years ago.....

But you wouldn't believe what they have now for pulled muscles and many other ailments..

And the Dolphins hired the best for such treatments and fast healing therapy. I know people who work in that field, and some of the stuff they have now for healing would blow your freaking mind. Stuff you won't find in your normal every day hospital, or in any other common place.

There has been ultasonic bone growth stimulators for along time. They stimulate bone growth, but by no way five times faster, sometimes they dont work at all. I would really like to know of these mythical muscle healers that only pro athletes get. I know alot of people with more money than pro athletes that would love to get there hands on these. Ill even let you in on some of the profit! We can travel around like old medicine doctors and heal the world.

You're wrong.. There has been advancements over the last 30 yrs that you didn't know about. it works. Like a charm.

But Yeah, I wrote it was invented way back 30+ years ago.

Trust me, I know people in that field. The treatments they have now are nothing short of mind blowing.

And you are not the only one who wants to get in on it. There are a plethora of ultra rich people who would love to get a hand in it... and they always fail... It is for a certain predetermined clique that you will never get into.

If it was a serious back injury he couldn't play football. This is football not golf....His back is ok.

Whatever it was, or whatever was done...It's not that big an issue obviously. Too, an OLB is going to take less of a beating on his back, than say an offensive lineman or a defensive tackle or something. Just the weight alone with those guys strains the back.

I wish I would have known about this stuff before going through lower spinal surgery 6 years ago :(. I tried every treatment my doctors could come up with over a 3 year span, nothing would stop my lower spine from slowly disolving :(

It almost sounds like some Illuminati-esque conspiracy. :D
