Alex Marvez, of the Miami Sun-Sentinel, reports the Carolina Panthers have signed WR J.R. Tolver (Dolphins). Terms of the deal were undisclosed.

Tolver had plenty of chances but he did not progress from season 1 to season 2.
Apparently he never ran a pattern the same way twice and was frequently out of position . Our training camp reporters should have more insight.

Perhaps a new coaching staff will give him a new lease in his football career.
