Most here have already read that JT dominated the practice with a couple of sacks and pressures. Here's what you did not read.

I had a couple of friends who were there, and they are Phanatics like most of us. They LOVED to see the JT of old but, looked deeper with their binoculars.

When JT was wreaking havoc, they were watching the surrounding players. They tell me they saw a number of players shaking their heads with Whoa's and Wow's.

Think this ain't gonna matter? He may not be a Penny as a teacher BUT.......

You want to see JT running wild ?? Let's reminisce. This is the best video of Jason Taylor ever. It's fairly new so not many people have seen it. This is mostly from his 2006 season when he tore up the league.

JT was a terror 3 years ago..... If he can regain some of his form he had 2006, as it looks like he lost some speed since then, well we have ourselves a heck of a player added to this defense.

The good thing is it looks like JT wants to go out with a bang. He feels like he has a lot to prove. Prove that he still has it. That increases our chances of him having a coming out return party this year. That would be great for this new Dolphin team.

wow that was awesome what a year he had i think this year with joey on the opposite side and this coaching staff really knowing how to use them both it's going to be really exciting to watch....

Well crazier things have happened. If he plays like that video I posted this year, I wouldn't be surprised.

There are a lot of players who busted out for one more year later in their careers when they had a big chip on their shoulder to prove something. Working very hard to get back their previous form.

He's a game changer and with Porter on the other side there's only one thing for an offense to do... run.

It's very interesting that Pasqualoni has drawn up some blitzes where Taylor and Porter are rushing from the same side.

Stacking one side. I feel sorry for the offensive tackle on that side. And Pasqualoni has another pass rusher on the other side when they do that. So Porter and Taylor on one side, with Cameron Wake, if he pans out, on the other side will be fun to watch.

God I'm glad its football season. Watching JT, and Porter rush the QB is going to be a treat.

very much agree with this...JP&JT rushing the QB from the same side...ohhhh that'll be a nightmare for that opposing OT...he'd be in for a lonnnnnggggg afternoon....

Very good point. It will have to be difficult for an offense with those two coming from the same side. I am also hoping for a meaningful contribution from Wake. He certainly seems to have all the tools.

JT will turn 35 this season hope he still has enuf juice to go an entire season. I think he would benefit from rotating with Roth, that is if mattie gets his head and groin on straight!

To be honest, I don't know why everyone is making it out to be Roth vs. JT. Roth is our best OLB against the run and JT is a situational pass rusher. They're both gonna play a lot, which was always going to be the case.
