• Dolphins left tackle Branden Albert, not complacent after a Pro Bowl season and knowing he will fighting for his job every year beginning next year, said he lost 25 pounds this offseason and it has helped his “knees and joints” feel lighter.

How driven was he?

“I created my own gym in my garage, bought a Stairmaster and Elliptical. I hopped on the Stairmaster 45 minutes after every workout in the morning and at night.”

Nice to hear on Albert and Maxwell.

Our secondary is shping up to be Maxwell,Jones and a bunch of interchangable question marks. I had/still have high hopes for ISQ though.

Albert appreciated that Adam Gase called him, after the Dolphins drafted Laremy Tunsil, to tell him he would stay at left tackle. “It was a great sign of respect,” Albert said. “I still strive to be the best tackle in football. I still believe I can. I am the left tackle on this team and when it’s time for me to go, it’s time for me to go.”
This may turn out to be the biggest mistake of the season.

Wow a $50 mil pro player put in his crib and actually used a stairmaster and an elliptical during the offseason

Thats some dedication

lol, right....that's chump change....I expected to hear that he spent $100K on a home gym/sauna/hyperbaric chamber/etc..., ....but hey, whatever works for him huh

chowing down burgers & fries on a stairmaster is proven to strengthen (fast-food) joints.

Bobby McCain is legit at nickel.

Agreed. I'm amazed NFL players are ever out of shape. I mean their jobs are literally to be physical and mostly fit (save for OL).

IF the players on this team right now perform like they did last year wether it was with the Fins or not... We are in serious trouble...

Branden Albert said today that he needs to find something new to help his body. He said he is "beat up".
