Jackson does it again!

good scoop. The pleasant surprise for me was Grant - wow he looks like a player.

Philbin talk-
"We didn't move the ball like we wanted to," Tannehill said. "Frustrating. Limited sample size there. But there were some good things we did well. Some things we need to clean up as soon as possible. Definitely some things to build on. We're not coming to any conclusions or jumping to anything to assume what we are. It's just another step in the process. Nothing to stress, nothing to worry about.... You've got to be able to protect the quarterback, get the ball in the playmakers' hands. It's all part of the formula to great offense."

How did having audible power feel tonight? "It felt good," he said. "Didn't have many checks at the line, maybe a couple. Guys were confident in what we were doing. They made a couple of plays on us up front and forced us to get the ball out quickly. You have to give credit to them. We had Jay [Ajayi] in the flat and weren't able to make that play."

Brandon Doughty entered seven minutes into the third quarter and finished 9 for 9 for 66 yards. “Good, not great arm strength, high completion percentage,” Tannenbaum said. “Processes information quickly.”

I love this kid.

Great article and is exactly what I watched in person last night..

Pennington 2.0

Loved watching Grant, he has the ability to score every time he touches the ball. Doughty was a breath of fresh air from other backups we have had to watch in the preseason, kid looked good. Loved seeing the turnovers. I felt McCain played well, had one pick, and another went off his hands.

Thanks for posting the quality buzz..

Jakeem is electric

Hull is looking decent for specials

I wish we could see more of Douglas out there.. I'm out with letting turner get tackle reps even if they don't go as plannedu

I like the quote from Tannehill, he is definitely calling out the OL

I thought Chris mccain looked improved too, but that is his usual preseason form... Wish we could get Dion Jordan out there practicing.. See what he's got to offer

Walt Aikens.. I didn't notice him much, but the article praises him. Can anyone take note of him???

Corner... Get healthy Howard and culliver... God speed

and yes I was impressed by Doughty for a late round rookie. Albeit backups all over the field, but when Matt Moore's contract is up, it's his time to be our backup

Jason Taylor on 790 said McCain has caught his eye in training camp and that he sees a lot of pass rushing ability in him. I'm curious to see how he does now that the prior coaching staff is out.

Walt Aiken played good I thought. Stuck his nose in there a little bit on the run. And caused a fumble good hustle.

Arm strength is important but it's not the most important. Chad Pennington proved that. I like the accuracy, ability to read quickly, and instincts he shows. To me those are more important than arm strength.
